It made the neighbor go away!
Couldn't say if it's keeping the cats away but it did wonders to repel the neighbor and completely soured any hopes for neighborly peace. I tried to be accomodating to our cat's poor choice to deposit his poo in the neighbor's yard and offered up used coffee grounds at first. That idea was refused. So then did the research and offered this product said neighbor. It only seemed to make the neighbor hostile as he demanded that we place our 10 year old outdoor cat in to immediate house arrest and train the cat (who actually thinks its a dog) to use a litterbox. I suggested that controlling where a cat does its business outdoors is about the same as expecting their toddler to not throw a temper tantrum in the library. Maybe explaining to the armadillos that dig in said flower beds searching for tasty meal of grubs or to the racoons that wander through the neighborhood, without any decency to stay out of yards or garden beds, pilfering for whatever meals they can scrounge up would warrant a greater success rate than explaining to our outdoor cat that it now has to live indoors or choose to poo in a litterbox. So, our experience with this product is that refusing to properly use it in garden beds has resulted in completely repelling the humans from our property and started an all out HOA and county animal control battle. Instead of testing this product out to reach a simple solution, they have now installed an expensive camera system directed at our property, and continue to fume and have created an absolute hostile neighborhood environment. If it doesn't repel animals, it may just repel humans and create a sh!tty atmosphere (pun intended).

So Far So Good
There’s a cat that kept defecating on our property, in the back yard, in between the cement blocks of the driveway. I pour this product to fill up all the spaces and cracks in between the cement. And so far, about a week, there has been no cat’s excrements. I’ve tried peppermint oil. It does work but I have to respray every three to four days. And peppermint oil is mad expensive. So I am so please with this product.

Works well but requires reapplication
Living in the country and having farm cats can present its own challenges. Among them is the tendency for flowerbeds to become liter boxes. Not want to keep the cats away just push them elsewhere is a chore. We find this product while to be temporary and require re application, does exactly what we want by pushing the cat to go pig somewhere beside right beside the front door.

Poor packaging, it stinks and be careful not to breath or get it on you
I don't think I will be buying this again First and foremost - be careful opening your shipping envelope this crap will likely be spilled all over the inside - it stinks and it can irritate your hands, eyes and airway. Be very careful if you use it - the slightest breeze can blow it back on you - into your face and if you breathe it in - you will deffinitely be repelled - and irritated - you will also stink like a dog's anus. Its described as granules but its really more like very fine granules or really more like a dust. Shame on you Bonide for cheaping out on a seal on the bottle. This crap was all over the inside of the shipping package and outside of the bottle - this stuff stinks like a dog butt - not so sure dogs won't like that ( or cats) Shame on you Amazon for shipping this crap unsealed like this - I know you give many sellers a really hard time over packaging and sealing but you let this stink bomb go - nice one. Shame on me for not reading the previous one star reviews. I generally (almost never) leave reviews, much less a negative one - but this one really cheesed me off - it irritated my ariway and left me stinking like cheese, old cheese or a dog's butt.
