I am currently doing bid tendering and found this book is very useful. This book contains sufficient technical information for the person works as a project engineer or manager to understand the interface between engineering and other functions such as procurement, construction, installation, hook-up, etc.It also explains the necessary deliverables from engineering discipline by discipline to construct the offshore platform in general. It is a very good book for you to understand at medium to high level but not for design engineer.Recommend for project engineer, QA engineer, proposal, and anyone wants to know how the platform works and built. Even an engineer deserves to own one to understand how other disciplines work.
