I just love these rods they are made just as good as the very expensive rods. Iight, sensitive and backbone. I'm a fisherman on a budget and fish don't care where you got your gear.

For a $60 pole I cannot think of a bad thing to say. I purchased the 7'4" H/Fast to use for heavy spinner baits and swim baits. Went out and fished using MONO. Guides are straight and wrapped well. A drop shot style hook keeper is just what I like. Rod it self looks nice. For a long pole it has pretty good balance and feels good for my grip. I like that the trigger is set back enough to allow palming the reel without an awkward feeling. It seemed to hit me just right. That's all fine and dandy now the important stuff. I could feel the bite just fine even on the fall I could feel the pump. I could also feel the short bites letting me know I needed a trailer hook on my spinnerbait. When using the swimbaits I could feel the pump as the bass chases it down and slacked the line on the retrieve. All I did is reel up the slack and set the hook. The back bone was just fine with a decent amount of flex to fight the fish right up next to the boat and lift them out. For $60 you cant beat this for a spinnerbait or swimbait pole. I didn't worm with it so I cannot testify to that. I am sure the Medium Power poles might work great for cranking if that is your need. All in all I will give this $60 pole 5-STARS.

This rod is just ok. I thought it would be nicer than it is. Its pretty stiff but thats kind of what I was looking for. The line guides break off if you just look at them funny. I have cheapo rods that get slammed around and they don't have any issues. On this rod you barely touch the guides and they break. I would look elsewhere for a rod like this.

This is more for the shipping company....package arrived in horrible condition...brown. The tube was broke in two and just taped up. Luckily the rod was not damaged. This is my second one of these 7'-4" H rods. It took 2 orders to get here. Shipping Co lost the first one. F' Ex. Amazon rep was awesome and ordered another one. Not even sure what to rate it, not Kastking's fault. Rating 5 as this is the 3rd Pedigree rod from them and had nothing but good success when it comes to feel and durability. Had other "pro" rods just snap.
