Sound is Clean and Clear
This small mic is good for online meetings and streaming. The quality of sound is clear an audible up to 5 -7 meters away from mic.

J'utilise ce micro Audio-Technica dans une configuration un peu spécifique et j'en suis très satisfait. Voici les points clés : * Portée étonnante : Utilisé à environ 2m50 de distance, le son reste clair et la reconnaissance vocale (Windows) fonctionne parfaitement. * Compatibilité : Je l'utilise en parallèle de mon casque Sony WH-CH720N. C'est la solution idéale pour pallier les problèmes de Windows qui gère mal le micro intégré des casques Bluetooth : ici, le micro du casque est désactivé et l'Audio-Technica prend le relais sans conflit. Windows l'a d'ailleurs sélectionné comme périphérique d'entrée par défaut dès le branchement. * Bémol : Le câble est un peu léger (fin), il faudra faire attention à ne pas le brusquer sur le long terme. Très satisfait de cet achat globalement, qui répond complètement à mon besoin. Idéal pour ceux qui veulent une saisie vocale fiable à distance assez élevée.

I use this in the main room of an open-plan house, and you can be quite far away and it still picks up your voice. Mild background noise doesn't seem to go through, which is nice, but I don't know what a fair bit of background noise will do. Also, while the cable is fairly long (maybe a bit over 1m), I needed to use a USB-C extension cable to make the distance I needed. And that worked like a treat

Even though the sound quality is good, the sound level is too low for an omnidirectional videoconferencing microphone. My screen's built in microphone does a much better job. On MacOS there is no way to turn on AGC (as some other people did on Windows). Just don't buy it if you have a Mac.
