DACASSO Bonded Leather Desk Set - Luxury Leather Desk Pad & Desk Organization Essentials - Office Organization & Executive Desk Decor - (Dark Brown, 5 Piece)

This is not the most luxury desk set on the market, but then it is not $1,300 either. I looked at all the big box office supply retail stores and could find nothing but CRAP under $100 and they had nothing over $100 so I looked at Amazon and found this set for just over $100 and it is very nice and looks impressive on my home office desk. I purchased a new desk handmade by Joseph Otmar at OTMAR FURNITURE in Dayton/Cincinnati, OH. The desk is absolutely incredible and made of walnut so I wanted to protect the desk top with a nice desk top pad. This office set fit the bill in terms of protection and looks great on my beautiful hand made desk. Joseph Otmar is 85 years old and can bring you to your knees with his vice grip handshake. He and his furniture and his store is remarkable!!!

Great desk set; really adds a formal charm to the desk. The material is bonded leather ( so not actual leather pieces but reconstituted leather). So while it does feel like actual leather, it lacks the original leather imperfections and character. For the price though, this is a great desk set and can make a great gift. The writing surface of the mat is really well done; it is smooth with no bubbles or bumps and has just the right give so one can put a sheet of paper directly on the mat and write without the page tearing or the writing passing on to the other side of the paper. The vendor screwed up the delivery so I got a black pen-stand with the brown set, but they were quick to respond via email and replace the incorrect item.

Clearly described with accurate dimensions, quickly shipped, thoughtfully packaged (all components boxed individually with the pad not rolled up like cheap ones), attractively designed, durably constructed. A terrific value when purchased in "Used Like New" condition at a significant discount!

I like that it's very classy and looks very high quality. What I don't like is that I have to buy the whole set. I still have to pieces that I don't need and have not unpacked.
