The Bodhi Dog Shampoo Brush is a simple but very effective grooming tool. The soft, flexible bristles help work shampoo into my dog’s coat and reach down to the skin without scratching. It rinses out easily, and the ergonomic handle feels comfortable in my hand. Bath time used to be a struggle, but this brush helps loosen dirt and hair while giving my dog a gentle massage. He actually seems to enjoy it. It’s also easy to clean after use.

Let me begin by saying Major, my rescue Doberman Pinscher, hates the water. He refuses to go out in the rain, avoids stepping in puddles, steers clear of the sprinkler, and even avoids going into the master bathroom. We have not taken him to the lake, but I can imagine that it would be much the same. Baths have been few, very few actually (with the exception of Huggie’s baths which he loves). So when it is time for an actual real bath using actual real water the adventure needs to be efficient, fast, and thorough or everyone will be soaked and no one will be any cleaner. This little bath brush addresses and aids in all of the required bath parameters. As an added benefit it does help somewhat to calm him since he likes to be brushed with the rubber bristled hand grooming gloves. The Brodhi bath brush gently gets into the hair and with brushing helps to release the hair, softly washes the skin, and massages the muscles at the same time. The rubber bristles do not pull the hair or irritate the skin as sharper metal bristles might do. The hair comes out of the brush easily and does not fly everywhere. The entire brush is made of a flexible rubber, and the little rounded, nubby teeth are very soft but effective. The hand slips easily into the strap on the back enabling one to brush with one hand and hold the dog (if needed) with the other. This little bath brush is sturdy, well made, pliable and easily stored. As an added bonus, they come in 11 colors, pack without fuss or muss, and are easily cleaned. This Brodhi hand bath brush does not make bath time a walk in the park, but it does help to increase the efficiency thereby decreasing the time needed for the bath…to the relief of pup and peeps alike! A sturdy yet supple brush. Was easy to clean and our dog was comfortable with it. It made bath easier.

This Bodhi Dog shampoo brush is a total game changer for bath time. I wasn’t sure if my dog would tolerate a brush in the bath, but she actually loved the gentle massage it gave her. It’s soft and flexible, but firm enough to really work the shampoo into her coat, especially around her neck and back where she tends to shed the most. It fits comfortably in my hand with the easy-grip handle, even when wet, and makes it easier to get a deep clean without tiring out my fingers. I’ve used it on both a short-haired dog and a longer-coated Doodle mix, and it worked great on both. The bristles glide through without pulling, and it definitely helps loosen dirt and hair while spreading the shampoo evenly. The shampoo was good. I didn't use half the bottle as other shampoos in the past just to feel like I got a good lather on my dog. He's not really munching on himself like he used to either before his bath so the shampoo seems nice and soothing on his skin. The silicone deshedding brush worked really well too. Helped me really get in his fur and get everything soaped up really well. He does shed a lot but it feels like more fur came off him this time than in the past.

My dog loved it when I used the brush during bathing. She didn’t get upset with me. It worked well with her thick coat. It took care of the tangle in her fur. She enjoyed the massage it provided for her. Made my life easier to handle her brushing in the bath and outside the bath. No compliants. It worked very well. Thank you.

Can’t say a whole lot about this. I do use it on the puppers and cats in the bathtub to scrub gently with, but it holds hair in it, have yet to figure out how to get it completely clean other than maybe vacuum it out.

This is the first brush that’s actually worked for my boxer. I filled it twice on the first brushing — the photo shows how much hair it grabbed in minutes. She also enjoys it, which is rare for short-haired breeds. The only small downside is removing the short hairs, but rinsing it in the sink works perfectly. A PetSmart groomer recommended it, and now I can see why!

Good grooming tool get right in

These fit my hands which is good. They’re large (my hands) and I find consumer products to be inconsistent. The blue was pretty much 2 for 1, and wouldn’t be my first choice, but you definitely cannot beat it. I don’t think the dog cares, either. The dog has short hair and she sheds easily. She’s a baby, sometimes, and randomly whines for no reason other than to get attention I think. She wants to be brushed if the cats get brushed. If they don’t, she cries. These are much better than the one I purchased at the groomer’s. The plastic is shorter and less stiff, which I’m sure we both appreciate, yet it still gets to the base of her coat. I use one on each hand when brushing, but I do the same to shampoo her. I hoped the hair would lift out of the bristles easily, but it doesn’t; however water just washes it right into the drain’s hair collector. Nice and easy to use and to clean up.
