Works great
The cracks and holes on my driveway were getting larger these past few years. Heard about cold patches and discovered Aquaphalt 6.0. Purchased 6 pails and tried it out. Fairy easy to use (I used a small shovel to scoop material out from the bucket). I tamped it down and then added water. It’s almost 24 hours later, and everything looks good. I filled in some small cracks and low spots. I also built a small ramp because my car bottoms out where it changes from concrete to asphalt. I still have more cracks to fill in, but I just wanted to test it out. Since I got the 6.0, I may have to widen some of those cracks a little bit. Overall, I think this is a really good product. It was really expensive, but I was able to do what I wanted by myself. I plan to get a couple of buckets of the 4.0 for some of my smaller cracks. My driveway looks so much better now.

Incredible success with product..! And I’ve used it for five times!
This product is the easiest Asphault Patch I’ve ever used! Plain and simple if you follow the simple instructions on the back, label the product adheres incredibly well. I have had spots in my driveway and done huge spots at our Church ⛪️ that I did four months ago that still looking incredible and no sign of derogation! This product is a no-brainer for anyone that has small patchwork on Asphault job jobs!! Byron

Amazing product, it's worth it
I'm so glad I found this product. It didn't take long at all to get the pothole in my driveway taken care of and it hardened quickly. First, I swept out the pothole of debris, then I opened the bucket and flipped it upside down and let it fall out of the bucket. At first, it came out in the shape of the bucket, then it came apart in a very satisfying way. My buckets were very fresh and far from the expiration date. I used a rake to evenly spread out the aquaphalt. Then I added the water, I believe it was 1 gallon per bucket, but it says you can't over water it. I think I threw in some extra water just to be sure. Then, I tamped it down. Very fast process. I left it alone for 2 hours and when I went back to check, it already hardened. I still didn't drive on it for a few days to let it cure undisturbed. I've had it for a few weeks now and it's been doing well so far. As for the weather, it was blazing HOT outside when I filled the hole. Over 100°F.

Aquaphalt vs. Home Depot Brand
I had a major sidewalk problem (tree roots). I ordered a bucket of Aquaphalt but it was only enough for about half the job. I didn’t want to wait a week for another order so I went to Home Depot and bought two 50 lb. bags of their cold patch asphalt @ $15/bag. Here’s the results: The Aquaphalt was soft and poured out of the bucket. Easy to work with. Tamed it and poured water over it and it was hard enough to walk on in 2 hours. The H.D. brand was gooey and easy to work with, although you can’t help getting a little tar on you. This stuff was easy to work with too. But I put this stuff down 3 days ago and it’s still soft and sticky, but you can walk on it after 48 hours. Another difference was that the Aquaphalt was made of much smaller gravel pieces so that the surface was much smoother than the H.D. brand. The Aquaphalt is definitely the better product, and it comes in a convenient tub you can reseal and easy to carry. The quick curing and the hard surface are the main advantages. But the Aquaphalt is expensive compared to the H.D. brand. That’s why I only gave it 4 stars. It’s a very good product, perfect for small patches.

On the expensive end of asphalt patch but so easy to work with.
This stuff is so easy to work with and does an excellent job. I started out with two 50 pound buckets of Aquaphalt for my driveway repair job. Cleaned the pothole out of any loose rocks and material and dumped the two buckets of Aquaphalt in. Spread it out and then watered the surface for a couple of minutes. Tamped it down, drove my truck over it a few times and finished. This is when I noticed that I needed more Aquaphalt, the hole was only half filled. Ordered two more buckets, took a couple of days to arrive so that gave time for the first patch to dry out and harden / cure. Dumped the next two bucks right on top, spread it out, watered and tamped. I am happy with how it turned out and like I said at the beginning, this stuff is so easy to work with. I could probably use a couple more Aquaphalts to really finish off the job but they are on the expensive side. We will see how well this patch job holds up.

Impressive and reasonably easy to use
UPDATE: A month later and holding strong. We have had a lot of rain but the patch continues to hold. Impressed. We had a rather large, but not real deep divot in our drive caused by an underwater spring. We had tried other products, but none of them lasted more than a couple of weeks. I read about Aquaphalt and decided to give it a try. At less than $70, it seemed like a good option. Let me say first that while the instructions lead you to believe the material will "flow" out of the bucket...that was not the case for us. The material was pretty solid and we had to use a hand-trowel to break it up so we could "dump" it in the hole. That being said - once it was out of the bucket and spread...the rest worked like a charm. We used a garden hose with a spray nozzle that would allow us to sprinkle water into the hole as instructed and we had purchased a hand tamper as suggested. In total, it took about 20 - 25 minutes from the time we cleaned out the hole to when we felt we had a solid and even surface. I drove across it the next morning and no so much as a mark. We have had a lot of rain since and it is remaining intact. Right now...5-stars. I will report back in maybe 6-months with an update.

Love this product.
It works really well and after it cures it is really stable. I had to reorder because I needed more than I thought I would. Also do not wait to use this product. I waited over a year and left a bucket in my garage for a year and humidity got into the seal and hardened the entire bucket.
