Very good for heartburn.
I have used Mylanta for many years to treat heartburn. Shortly after a pregnancy a number of years ago I had developed severe irritation of the lining of the esophagus due to carrying a large baby and a hiatal hernia. The chest pain was so bad I thought I was having a heart attack! I was referred to a cardiologist, had a stress test, and everything. When they decided it was from gerd (gastric reflux disease) the treatment was an antacid like Mylanta every four hours for two weeks. I learned that when I had heartburn to treat it before it got worse. Chewable tabs just didn't do the trick. The Mylanta coats the irritated surface and allows it to heal. Now at the first sign of irritation I take this and it is fine almost immediately. I like Mylanta because it has no bad side effects like causing diarrhea. It doesn't taste too bad if you swallow it quickly 😁 and works fast.

This actually works great after dinner is perfect. No more heat burn or any discomfort after taking it before bed and my last meal. I honestly recommend it to those who suffer from heartburn. Likely, would buy again and affordable price for myself.

Antacid works well, but this flavor is too sweet
For occasional symptoms of heartburn or reflux, I’ve relied on Mylanta for years among the many over the counter products available. The thick liquid to me is easy to swallow, coats my esophagus down to my stomach quickly, and I’ve always found this works faster and better for me than pills or chewable wafers. I like that it is magnesium based and it doesn’t cause me any secondary GI side effects. Taste of course, us a matter of taste, but this sweet honey chamomile flavor I find to be just too sweet. This still works great as an antacid, but I’ll be going back to the classic flavor in the future.

Great flavor. Acid reducer.
I have acid like crazy due to a rare stomach issue. At night it's compared to battery acid ph balance. This mylanta takes over for the Pepto that was making me worse.
