This item was recommended by my groomer and it works well. My dog no longer cries when there are loud noises from contractors working within the complex.

Well made and effective. Tried on 3 dogs so far while blow-drying the two of them and trimming nails for one. It did seem to calm them. Need to try on other dogs to see if it has the same effect. But so far so good. These are pretty thick which is good. But hard to dry.

I was reading a thing about Amazon products for dogs people love and to be honest I bought it half for the purpose and half because I thought it would be adorable. I got this for my 10 year old chihuahua min pin. She is a lovely girl but she is trying to fight planes in the sky and hates separation. I was pleasantly surprised it came with a small and medium. My 1 year old big boy (pitty mostly, GSD, husky, mutt) is scared of 70% more things than the little dog, but has less separation anxiety. So I put them both on. They did not like it lol. But we tried again at a quieter part of the day, and they seemed less stressed and less barky. We’ll see. But it’s so cute and I love that it did really calm them to a degree, albeit only in a calmer part of the day or day light (or lack thereof). I won’t leave them on to make them unhappy but they are warming up to it! So we are having little moments.

My dogs are afraid of thunder and fire works. I’ve used both sizes. They fit tightly (as they should) once you flatten their ears underneath. They work for my dogs. Now when there’s a storm coming I keep their “storm hats” nearby. They must block out the sound because they sometimes fall asleep with them on and I have to wake them to take them off. Great purchase!

The quality is good, and I am glad that it comes in two sizes. However, the small is ideal for a small Chihuahua sized dog. The large that is also in the package seems to fit more like a medium. It fits my four month old Great Dane puppy, but will not fit him when he’s older. It does seem to be made of a quality material that does stretch some.

This may help a bit with sound control, but it's not going to drown out fireworks (didn't for us). However, it does provide some comfort, so that's why we're giving it some stars. Our dog is pretty anxious, so we put this on her sometimes to try and quiet things down. We've used it when staying in hotels. It will work for a little bit, but after about an hour the usefulness wears off and she's back to hearing everything again and being anxious.

My dogs are terrified of fireworks and I was very impressed!!! They were very calm and went right to sleep. I highly recommend!!

I ordered two. Both my dogs love to wear these and it helps with the noise from the blower.
