The 22-018-1 Power Pack Standard SX is a compact, metal-bodied controller designed for N and Small HO scale DC trains. Fully compatible with KATO Unitrack accessories, it features built-in overload and short circuit protection with a reset switch, and a snap connector output for KATO turnout control switches. Measuring 136 x 118 x 78mm, it offers reliable, upgradeable power control for smooth, safe model train operation.

## Description

The Kato Standard SX Power Pack is designed to keep your HO and N Scale standard DC trains running smoothly. Revised in 2018, this power pack is 100% compatible with all Unitrack electrical accessories and is an in-kind replacement for previous Kato power packs. It is also upgradeable with alternative AC adapters that will allow greater output for larger layouts (sold separately). The Standard SX includes the controller with speed knob and reverser lever and also matches the pack supplied with M1 and M2 Master Series Oval Sets (sold separately).

Excellent power pack for running Kato or Hobbytrain locomotives and trains. Allows interior lights to turn on without forward motion at least until throttle power is increased slowly until desired train speed is reached. Notes: 1) requires additional purchase of 110V power pack as well as a Kato cable to connect device to Kato track.
