This CD is a treasure in the sense of two things: many wonderful songs here; and Marianne Faithfull's voice was still fresh and so beautiful! These recordings were done in the first few years of her singing career, before drugs and smoking took their toll on her voice. After that, I couldn't listen to her. My favorite songs here are "Little Bird" and "Summer Nights," but there are many other good songs, as well. That sweet, young voice was a real gift from God!
