The precision dial on the guards is much more reliable than swapping out dozens of loose plastic combs. ​The OneBlade Advantage: Including the OneBlade is a stroke of genius. I use the main trimmer for bulk removal and the OneBlade to get those sharp, clean edges around my cheeks and neck without the irritation of a traditional razor. ​Build Quality: It feels solid in the hand, not like the cheap plastic trimmers I’ve used in the past. Excellent machine. It is doing the job for me. I have been suffering from shaving irritations in the past with other clippers and razors for years but since I bought this, irritation ls have been thing of the past. I like its water friendliness and easy assembly and attachment. I have stopped going to the barber shop now. I try to do it by myself with the assistance of my wife at home.

Great adjustment to trimming beard Not sure how to use the one blade but it’s not like a normal razor, the carry bag is a little useless don’t think it will hold or protect much hence the 1 star less

Best trimmer. Really easy to use and suitable for all areas. Plenty of attachments and great that it comes with the one blade too which gives a good close shave. Have had for 6 months and have only had to charge both once. Would highly recommend

This is the second time I’ve ordered a Philips trimmer and received a used product. I just received and opened the box, there was hair on the trimmer and inside the packaging, and the device shows clear signs of wear and dirt. Completely unacceptable to receive a used item sold as new.

So far so good. Good build quality and the clippers look smart. Brought this to replace an old Braun trimmer, this Phillips one is a massive upgrade and works so much better. Highly recommended

Expensive. Shaving leg hair not ideal. The attachment misses lots of hair. Should have bought a cheaper lady shave. The razor is the only good thing. Might be ok to cut hair but shaving is not ideal.

Not to take anything away from this model as it is a good option. I mistakingly bought the wrong item, as i was looking for the 'Philips 'Norelco' Multigroom 9000', after reading numerous reviews. I never realised this 'Philips Multigroom Series 9000' was a different model. Should have done more research but this will do for now.

Philips è uno dei leader assoluti del mercato per questo tipo di prodotti e anche in questo caso non si smentisce. Venivo da un serie 7000 di oltre 4 anni fa, che dopo varie cadute aveva perso l'impermeabilità e col tempo e con il contatto con l'acqua è definitivamente andato. Ho quindi optato per questo più recente che di fatto altro non è che una sua evoluzione, in parte estetica, in parte funzionale. Il motorino interno sembra infatti molto meno rumoroso e la scocca esterna meglio rifinata e molto più resistente, essendo realizzata in diverse parti in gomma in modo da resistere meglio a urti e cadute. Per il resto è identico agli altri, tant'è che le testine e gli adattatori che ho conservato dal precedente modello (in quanto alcuni assenti in questo) si montano correttamente e funzionano senza problemi. Inoltre l'ho acquistato ad un prezzo promozionale, per cui considerato il valore attuale del suo gemello sprovvisto di OneBlade, aggiungendo poco più di 20€ ho potuto portare a casa proprio il rifinitore OneBlade, che non sarà potentissimo ma ha il suo perché se usato per quello per cui è ideato. Va detto che allegato al OneBlade però c'è solo una lama (con un pratico cappuccio protettivo) e nessun altro accessorio dedicato o lama di ricambio. Inoltre molto pratico anche l'astuccio incluso, per poter tenere tutto al suo interno: in passato mi era più comodo lasciare il precedente rasoio nella scatola originale in quanto la sacchetta di trasporto nera era davvero poco pratica per l'uso "quotidiano". Ma la scatola ormai era distrutta e comunque molto ingombrante. Un altro aspetto che secondo me è stato migliorato è il funzionamento del tasto d'accensione del rasoio: è posizionato in corrispondenza di dove si tiene il pollice durante l'utilizzo e sul precedente rasoio spesso capitava di schiacciarlo involontariamente provocando lo spegnimento improvviso del rasoio e conseguente dolore dovuto allo strappo dei peli. In questo il tasto deve essere premuto con più decisione, evitando pressioni involontarie. Credo poi che il regolatore a "orologio" da 1 a 3 mm mantenga in realtà uno spessore leggermente superiore: confrontandolo con le mie vecchie testine da 1 e 3 mm dedicate trovo che taglino qualche decimo di millimetro in più, lo si sente facilmente passando la mano sui capelli o la barba tagliata. Infine ottima la ricarica rapida che in 5 minuti permette di ottenere sufficiente caricare per una rasatura semplice o un'ora per tornare a piena efficienza. Sicuramente consigliato, ci si fa tutto il corpo senza problemi e l'autonomia di due ore permette di fare tutto un'unica sessione!
