Removing the fan eliminates a point of common failure, allowing the system to easily outlast standard commercial desktops. The CPU draws only 17 watts but is able to tackle processor intensive multimedia with Intel HD 4000 Graphics. The system features a pair of HDMI ports that can support dual independent displays for digital signage or advanced kiosk applications as well as 4 USB 2.0 ports and 1 LAN port with front access to dual USB. This system has been configured with solid state technology featuring a 64 GB MLC mSATA solid state drive and 4 GB DDR3 1600 Memory. With no moving parts, this system can be deployed in harsh environments without skipping a beat. Based around the Intel Next Unit of Computing, also known as the Intel NUC, this system measures 196 x 37 x 131mm for discreet deployment in space-constrained applications.
