Nothing beats it. Worked on my hair which previously had a Smooth n Shine Keratin Power treatment (regular) in it. My hair felt thicker, stronger, my curl pattern loosened moderately, but it felt straw like with the Smooth n Shine when wet. However, when I used the keralove booster pre-treament, my hair was noticably smoother, shinier, and still strong. Breakage is practically eliminated. I have 4c fine hair which I wanted to keep natural, but because of the fragile nature of this hair due to the thin diameter of the hair shaft, I kept getting 1 and 2 strand knots. My hair grows fast, but I've lost a lot of length due to constant tangling and cutting. I used the Keralove Plus Keratin treatment on myself at home with the professional equipment. I'm still able to keep an afro texture that I can work with and wear, yet straighten in under 12 MINUTES with a blow dryer to a straight/stretched blown afro texture which still have movement and bounce! Now, I can use the flat iron (i chose to use ceramic, because it's safer for my fine diameter hair) even at a low temperature (280F), polishes and smoothes the hair cuticles quickly and efficiently with only one pass! My curls are not able to hold as well since I've used the smooth n shine keratin power treatment (regular) when I use the flat iron, but I don't regret the steps I've taken. I still have movement, bounce and shine. My ends, which were horrible look ten times better. I'm never switching again. Keralove has helped me to save my hair from further deterioration.One more thing.... About humidity.... Keralove is a beast against humidity! When I sleep at night (with or without a satin cap on my satin pillow case), humidity builds on the hair whice I slept on. With other Keratin treatments from the local grocery store which I've tried, my hair reverts into a state that's frizzy and doesn't remotely recognize my natural braid of hair. Keralove prevents this from occurring. I did wake up with very small amounts of friziness on my ends that I've slept on. However, a blow dryer with air concentrator attatchment (conair 276r infiniti) on hight hair pressure and medium heat with a denman chushion nylon bristle brush puts that to rest. I recommend this for people like me who love hot showers and work out.i can style my hair with no product necessary for slip! However, I still use a smoothing heat protectant cream like Andre Walkers (a professional grade one). I also use an anti humidity spray from organix with kukui oil, but my looking to make the switch to Alterna company (also pro grade) which has an anti-humectant for keratin treated hair. I shall update. I intend to purchase the Keralove maintenance system because the hair mask is awesome. (I can only imagine it on someone with less coarse hair!) Process went by smoothly, same as a normal keratin treatment, however fumes were a little strong (having a fan helps). The size of the kit was a perfect amount for my clients coarse above shoulder length hair. Also it only took 3 days to receive my product and it was in perfect condition.
