My son and I are experienced fresh and saltwater fishermen. There are hundreds of "kits" out there for sale. This one is the best small/value for money kit we have bought. It has everything you need for pond, lake, river fishing (one exception being wire leaders). Compact, well presented. Great for heading to out of the way spots when you don't want to lug a lot of gear. A+

This a great little tackle box. Everything in it is high quality and even the box itself is great. Compact, seals tight and holds plenty of hooks, weights, etc for your time on the water. Perfect for kayaking.

Beginning freshwater fishing with my kids so their rod and reel combos had very basic kits. Needed more options but nothing crazy elaborate yet, so I tried the 181 piece kit. I was shocked how compact the case was and began to worry. As I opened and looked through it got impressive they organized everything into such a compact kit. I love the fact that this has a locking lid for each compartment! I have to say, pleasantly surprised by this kit.Had I know I think I would have tried 196 or 214 with the lure. Personally I prefer the foam floats, they seem more durable and float better than the hollow plastic ones that get water in and have to be drained out at times which is a pain. Otherwise, if your kit needs a boost of handy essentials but don't want to spend a lot, this is it.

This comes in a nice sturdy case that easily fits in a tackle box. My son has found many useful items in there that are very nice to have on hand. The case did look bigger in the picture, but we appreciate the size is handy and fits well in the tackle box.
