Best ear cleaner I’ve ever used. I feel good about the ingredients and it does a great job. Also I have an allergy dog and when she’s licked her paws too much this product also doubles as a minor wound medicine. Be careful-it’s violet/blue color so it could cause stains on fabric but in my experience it comes out in the wash. Or if you have rubbing alcohol you can dab it out with the help of that.

My overall review of K9 Ear Solutions is that it is by FAR the most effective for ear infections. It does stain some surfaces though, so be careful if you are administering inside. I have a shih tzu who is basically allergic to the world. I had him tested for allergies and found out that the ear infections and hot spots were due to things I could not keep away from him... like grass and dust. When I first adopted him it was in a constant battle with this ears and they were hardly ever free of infection. They were heavily caked over every day, stinky and purple with discharge too - even with cleaning them constantly. I spent so much $$$ at the vet on medication that only temporarily lessened the infections. After I was sick of vet visits and spending money I decided to try an ear wash. I came across this product and now I can't believe how healthy my dogs ears are! They are clean, smell free, and a good pink color. He has also stopped scratching his ears and looking uncomfortable. My shih tzu has a puppy cut so he has a slightly fluffy head. I am sure that the extra hair around his already floppy ears makes a good place for infection to start, so I always use this after I wash him. I have noticed that if I don't use this he can get an infection after 1-3 bathes. If he does start to get an infection I just rinse his ears out with this, bath or no bath, and the infection goes away within 1-2 days. To administer the ear wash I pull his ear over the top of his head towards the other ear so his canal is facing up. I then squirt enough into his ear so that I can see it welling up in his ear. I then release his ear and repeatedly gently squeeze the base of his ear so the wash is worked around. It kind of makes that sound that you make when you clasp your soapy hands together and make fart noises. No? Just me? ok.... well, I then peel his ear back again and wipe as much excess wash off as I can with a clean paper towel. These are the instructions I received from the vet on a medicated ear wash, so I just applied the same technique here. Like I said earlier, this stuff can stain and it is bright purple, so be careful if you have a shaker. Might want to do this step outside. I also have a border terrier who has small floppy ears and he just recently had the start of infection, which this helped with as well. I buy a 12 oz bottle about once a year and I have two dogs, so this goes a long way. I couldn't more more pleased with the result or the price.

This is my favorite ear cleaner for my Labradors. It seems to knock out any ear irriation with one cleaning a week. The liquid is purple and sometimes can be hard to clean off the wall if they shake their head before I can wipe it out.

Product came recommend by my daughter who has customers who swear by this product. Gave it a try on my dogs who are skeptical about anything to do with their ears, had zero problems with this. They weren't upset about the smell. Their ears are very clean and have no funky smell. Price point was fair for the amount of product.

Always uses after baths or when ears look dirty never has a problem with infection. Works great!
