I bought this 1000 lb gray Gorilla cart mainly to use with my 9 ton Yardmax log splitter. After assembly, which was quite easy, I bolted a piece of plywood down to the floor. My log splitter is 170 lb so I didn't think the floor would be able to take the weight for very long without the plywood, which will now evenly distribute the weight. I was thankful the log splitter already had two holes at the base of the handle area for me to be able to bolt it to the floor. I don't think it's going to go anywhere. I live in the north, so I'm anxious for the spring to come so I can give my new cart and new log splitter a good workout. Will just slide the handle down on the cart, hook it up to my riding mower and off I go. I'm 73 years old so I'm not able to lug that splitter around without the cart. The splitter is now sitting at a perfect height for me to work, without killing my bad back. The Gorilla cart is a perfect match for my splitter. Couldn't be happier!

I bought this cart in August and we've finally been able to use it for the purpose it was purchased. We've hit the 70 yr old mark and we've always heated our home with a woodstove. In the past, my husband would fill a wheelbarrow with split wood from our stack and wheel it, uphill, to our home. His health is good but that job has gotten harder every year with age. This year I bought the lawn cart so he could attach it to the back of the riding mower and drive the filled cart uphill instead. Works perfectly! He says this addition is a huge improvement and serves its purpose well.

Seems to be built like a tank, I can move a lot at least two wheelbarrow-loads full of firewood with this and save time and some energy. I need to adjust the tubes in a couple of the wheels as the valve stems are askew and I don't want a tear in the tubes - that's the only thing I could see as being an issue. I wanted the 13 inch tires as I have rough terrain and wish they came on the smaller carts as this is pretty huge - maybe Gorilla Carts can make that an option.

Update: I have been using this cart now for about 10 months. I love this cart. I posted an upside down picture showing how tightly the suspension turns and is designed. If you zoom in on the picture I posted, you will be able to see how the front axle pivots. This is the best design on the market allowing for very tight turning radiuses.. You could basiically pull this cart backwards. Is that a tight enough turning radius for you? Because this cart is so well designed, I have given my other two carts away. I do highly recommend that you keep this out of the weather because it will rust. Mine looks like new because I keep mine underneath my porch. My original blister pack came missing a washer, but the customer service was very responsive sending me another blister pack of parts. I now show off my cart to any who are interested. In my opinion, it is the best engineered on the market. Spend the extra money and get this cart. Original product review: I am very impressed with how this cart is engineered. There is attention to even small details. For example, the gorilla cart uses much beefier bolts with nylon lock nuts. My old cart used nuts that would come loose and get lost in the grass. I purchased this cart, which replaced another brand that is currently still available on Amazon. The gorilla cart has a much stouter set of axles! If you look at the pictures, you will notice that the gorilla cart has a tubular axle system. Competitors use thin steel that will eventually tear or bend. My old cart was rated for 1,000 pounds but broke hauling about 200 pound of firewood. This cart also has a much stouter steering handle. My old cart’s handle would flex if I tried to push it. The only negative is that whoever put the parts in the blister package was careless and left out a washer - four were needed, but only three were provided. Hopefully they will send another washer as requested. Another item I wonder about is a thin, black plastic mat to cover the cart bed. It is rare for me to get excited about how well made a product is made, but this cart wins my approval. I highly recommend this cart.

Ugh! Gorilla you dropped the ball on this one. First and foremost, you need to correct your false advertising. The handle is NOT as pictured, it is cheap plastic. We currently own a gorilla cart that was purchased a few years back, we purchased it for our generated and I started using it for everything but the generator. It was time for me to give it back to its original purpose and purchase another one for me to use. We love our old cart so much we didn't look at any other options. This cart arrived today and I was disappointed. The handle is cheap, the cart is a cheaper quality than our current one, and after I finished putting it together and put three large size bags of potting soil in the cart, I instantly became concerned about the durability. On the plus side, it was easy to put together... I am not confident that it would handle being towed. I gave it two stars and may update to a max of three or lower to one once I am able to use it and see how it holds up. ps, you could have kept the thin liner for the inside of the cart and gave me a better handle!
