Product arrived defective. Due to low coast, refund was just given. It should be noted however that this is an old-style analog remote, which I knew when I ordered it. Since the numeric keypad doesn't have a decimal point, to view channel 20.1 for example, you punch in "20" which gets you to analog channel 20, then press the up channel button to get to the digital channels. To scan through the digtal channels, you just use the up channel or down channel buttons. I have several of thee old-style credit card remotes and their advantage is their size. Nobody makes one that have the decimal point for digital TV . They do work with dgital TV, however, just that you can't get to a digital sub-channel directly. These remotes currently are difficult to find. Wish they made a version for te newer digital TVs. You can't find a smaller remote.

This seems to have limited support in terms of the short list of tv, dvd, and vcr on the manual. Does have option to search manually, but I ran out of patience waiting for it to find my tv. I thought that it had a learning function mode for the keys, but that was not the case.

I like to use this when I'm in a restaurant and they have the TV on loud and nobody is actually watching it. I just turn it off and nobody seems to care.
