I have a hard time digesting vegetables so instead I have been using powdered veggies in my smoothies and it works. For some reason, they do not bother my digestive system in this form. I guess because my stomach doesnt have to break it down and it doesnt produce the usual amount of gas. So it is perfect. I get in my veggies and I still feel great! It smells and tastes like broccoli too. But when you put it in your smoothing with your other ingredients you don't taste it. It is a Win Win! Highly recommend.

Instead of fretting over not getting enough green veggies in my diet, I just add this to everything in my combined spices and now I have enough greens every day. It's so much easier than the alternative in my house, anyway. I was getting very lazy about fixing broccoli and now I don't have to worry about it.

Took about a week off from this but I'm venturing back next Monday. You'll be "regular" for sure taking this daily. I put a scoop in a 16.9 Oz bottle of spring water, add a splash of juice and chug.

The most nutritious part of fresh broccoli is the deep green tops, but this powder is surprisingly pale. Here’s a photo taken with my macro lens. The pale color makes me wonder if it’s made mostly with the less nutritious pale stems rather than the tops. I’m taking a star off for that.It has a pleasant broccoli fragrance and very mild broccoli flavor, but it also has a surprisingly sweet taste. It tastes like it has sugar mixed into it, although supposedly it’s nothing but broccoli. Sweetness isn’t a bad taste, but it’s not what I expect from broccoli.I don’t have some sort of lab to test what this actually is, but I doubt that it’s pure broccoli as advertised. I guess I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt that it doesn’t actually have sugar added and not take another star off, but I wonder if I’m being too generous.

Broccoli naturally contains iron, calcium & potassium. I asked how much, answer was none. Where did they go? I certainly expected proper values to be listed. Even though I like this product until there is more information on label I won't purchase again.
