Decent for gun cleaning, but not the best
Got these for general firearms cleaning and maintenance and they are ok, but not super durable.They work well for a quick dip in solvent or CLP to wipe down slide grooves before scrubbing with a brush. The solvent must degrade either the foam or the adhesive holding it to the stick so the tips slide off easily. They aren't really good for scrubbing, but work alright if you use them in a pushing motion. They are lint free, and super cheap, but a proper field strip level cleaning uses 5-6 of these at a minimum. As I said, we're talking pennies so it's not a huge deal.

The tip is like a paddle so it holds more product. Not long enough though for my needs. Other than that preference, this product is great!

Cleans without leaving stray fibers
Cleans without leaving stray fibers. I wouldn't expect to scrub hard with these, but for gentle cleaning and application of grease, these are great.

Just what I needed
I found these very effective for cleaning certain things. They are long enough to reach into deep areas. I much prefer them over Q tips.
