so rough, but it so far seems pretty tough
when you use this clutch and take off on a normal single chain transmission it is going to feel like the clutch is falling apart. i won't say at this point that it will not fall apart because i haven't used it enough, but it definitely is very rough. the engagement is pretty good compared to other clutches though, enough that my motor's rpm is lower while using this clutch at relative speeds. the engagement material seems to be pretty tough so far and doesn't eat through real fast, but as i said, it is so rough at lower speeds. it feels like something is breaking. it isn't breaking anything except maybe the clutch itself, but so far so good. like i said, my engine is at lower rpms overall than with the 2 lobe clutches that i have been using (i have never had good luck with a 3 lobe clutch) it just feels wrong when moving under 20mph.EDIT: lasts quite a while, longer than other options, upped to 5 stars and am buying another. the fail mode has the rivets holding it together failing in the back pushing it into the engine and killing rpm, but it can still limp home, doesn't damage anything when that happens if you don't run it that way for long, although there are chunks of rivet that might fly into your transmission when it happens, luckily that hasn't happened to me. great clutch.

Great clutch
Nice clutch fits perfect and a lot better than the stock one

Works OK on 4 stroke kit, but is a bit rough
I got the Huasheng 142f 4-stroke engine. It came with the 2 leaf clutch and has a tapered shaft. The original clutch was, for some reason, worn out. I got an identical replacement and the engine was better; the clutch engaged at a much lower RPM. At the same time, I got this clutch and I installed it, and the engagement RPM was even better. The clutch engages almost immediately, with the engine having to rev up very little. Unfortunately, the clutch causes some strong vibration and jerking at low speeds, and doesn't engage smoothly like the 2 leaf clutch. As the clutch wears in, it has gotten smoother, but it is still very rough until it fully engages at higher speeds.
