It's small yet why is it so expensive? I see this can sold for 3.99 at stores?

There is no good reason. Not only can you find a cheaper product that's three times larger at Walmart - you can get it shipped to you for free. I am disappointed I didn't look more carefully and assumed (making an ass of myself and Amazon) it was full sized. It is clear (to some, I guess) Kindle Customer is 100% right, "this 3.5oz for 7$ is a rip off compared to the 10oz bottles in a 4 pack for $5 more." If being ripped off bothers you (doesn't most here), then you should learn to compare more carefully. I hope I can. Good luck. The biggest difference between a chain and Amazon is the large amount of shoplifting compared to mindless returns. Both are about $170 a year for every man, woman, and child in America. With small ticket items suddenly going for thousands of dollars here, Amazon wins for rip offs. They are trying to fix this - why Amazon recently shut down 50,000 more vendors from China. You need to compare Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Kroger, Home Depot, Ebay, Costco, NewEgg, etc. Unfortunately, the average person doesn't even compare multiple vendors on a single platform (or, like me, assumes all are the same size). This is why vendors pay to move up in your search results. The big thing is "retail arbitrage" (buying products on one platform and selling it on others). I've had an Amazon box sent to me from an Ebay purchase and a Walmart box from an Amazon purchase. The big money is in the expensive apps for showing the large price differences (like Levi making more money selling jeans to miners than they did from mining gold).

This can is deceptively small. You can get 2 larger cans for cheaper elsewhere. Also no returns on this item. So no, not good item.
