These glove liners do provide a little extra boost to the warming power of a pair of gloves, but for the hassle I would rather just have spent some more money to just get a thicker pair of gloves that provide enough warmth on their own. PROS: -As stated above, these do provide a little extra oomph to your gloves. About enough to turn a pair of mild-weather fall gloves into a pair of light winter gloves. -The liners have a pretty long wrist portion which is very nice for blocking wind on potentially exposed wrists, and can help with layering if you're trying to build up a buffer of overlapping layers. -They are thin enough that if you need to remove your outer glove in order to use a touchscreen, you can leave the liners on. Maybe not quite sensitive enough for quick texters, but definitely enough to place/answer calls or navigate around. CONS: -These have a tendency to move around on your hand a lot during wear. Specifically, I've noticed that over the course of my drive to work (around 30 minutes), the thumbs & fingers have rotated close to 90 degrees from where they started, which means that the seams are now right on the pads of my thumbs & fingers. Might not be an issue to some, but I find it very uncomfortable. -You can't really remove the glove & liner as a single piece, which makes putting on/taking off the gloves more time consuming. In addition to taking slightly longer to get ready, this also sheds light on the biggest issue: -These liners are an absolute DISASTER around velcro. Even the slightest contact will cause a snag that pulls long strands out & will eventually look like you're carrying a handful of black string (not quite that bad, but substantial). It's not so bad since they end up inside your gloves & won't be seen, but it's a problem that is self-propagating; as you get more snags, it makes it easier to snag those hanging fibers, and the snags get worse & worse. Overall, if you have a pair of gloves that aren't quite warm enough, I think it'd be better to commit a little more money to get a second pair of gloves that can stand up to the environment on their own.

I bought these silk liners to wear in my motorcycle gloves. When motorcycle gloves are worn during warm and hot summers, they are difficult to put on or take off when your hands become sweaty. Glove liners have always made motorcycle gloves easier to wear. They also wick sweat and I have noticed that my motorcycle gloves never smell when I wear glove liners under them. My preference is for synthetic liners as they are much more durable but it can be a little more difficult to find ones that are thin and not bulky. Silk liners are thin but they are much more delicate and prone to pulls or runs in the fabric material. Make sure to keep these silk liners well away from any Velcro as it will catch and become damaged. I have already caught these silk liners in the Velcro of my motorcycle gloves even though I tried my best to be careful. I don't think they will last more than two seasons of motorcycling but they work well as liners. As these liners are thin, they do nothing to keep your hands warm when it gets cold. They are not really meant for that purpose anyway. I wear a size 9 glove and the large size of these fit perfectly. The quality appears to be good as well.
