Very close. Has a very nice soft fresh smell just like sea island cotton. I use it and like it!

What year is this from?

I ordered this B & B fragrance several seasons ago and it was (and still is) fresh and not expired.

Does this work for keeping ants away from the kitchen counters?

No, it is a body fragrance, not a room spray, but if you leave a thin layer of any hand soap or dish washing liquid on your countertops I have heard that is good in keeping ants away, just wipe your counters down with soapy water and do no rinse them.
