It works perfectly, doesnt get in the way, and holds to vehicle securely.

Great SWR at 27.325MHz with 3:1 points ±500KHz. Tuned to middle of band ~27.200MHz easily with SWR at 1.6:1 both ends. Sure, it is a short antenna so its capture area is lacking as is its overall efficiency, but it sure won't blow off your roof. But for a cheap magmount, it is worth the money!

I was afraid this little thing wouldn't work at all, even a little nervous it would fry my radio. Right out of the gate the SWRs weren't horrible but by trimming about 1/8 of an inch off the bottom I was able to play with the adjustment where I was getting 1.5 on 1 and 40. Run it to channel 19 and I'm getting a perfect 1.1 I set SWR using an external meter in an open area and as you can see in the video even once back home next to my garage with no external meter it still reads really well. I was able to make clear contact about 1.5 miles away on a barefoot cobra 29 which really surprised me with this little stealth antenna which is pretty inconspicuous on the wife's minivan and will be perfect for road conditions when traveling. Remember hight is might so you're not gonna reach out there like a big trucker will with a giant antenna but taken for what it is, I give it two thumbs up.

The reception is excellent! I'm picking up all kinds of transmissions, that I did not receive with my old antenna. I have no idea about transmitting because I don't talk much on the radio. It's nice and compact/small, so no need to have a giant tall antenna on your car roof. The magnet keeps it secured well. And I couldn't beat the price.

I didn’t want to write a negative review, but this antenna has a few problems. Number one is that someone glued the antenna top wire to the bottom of the adjustable area. After a lot of pulling & twisting to get it out, I was then able to do the required adjustment to a low SRW reading on my 10 meter transceiver. The little screw that holds the adjusting wire is so small that it is easy to lose. The magnetic bottom of the mag mount isn’t very strong compared to other mag mounts that I have used in the past. The rubber bottom of the mag mount is good in preventing scratches, but this may be one reason that the magnet is not as effective. Also, the magnetic bottom base is too small of an area to firmly grip the metal top of a car roof. Overall this little 10 meter antenna is well constructed, and an easy car installation. Because the magnet doesn’t appear to be very strong, I am worried that a good bump on the road may knock it off a car while on rough roads.

I originally bought a more expensive antenna, and after several week of "debugging" it turned out to be the antenna. I bought this cheaper antenna and all was good. It even looked better being all black with no exposed chrome. This is a good buy.

Don't buy it this thing fried my radio couldn't even get a swr test to work with it don't buy it get a Wilson or a antenna from president Before I plugged this antenna into my radio my SWR was 1.0 with my calibrated antenna I plugged this antenna in started the SWR test the radio just shut off I am I turned the radio knob off disconnected the antenna hooked up my calibrated antenna SWR is now 24 not 2.4 24 don't buy this antenna destroyed my radio

Very nice design, feels rugged, and the quality of build seems adequate, keep in mind that I had to tune this antenna using an SWR meter prior to use, it came in at 1.6 on channel 1 and came in at an astounding 3.5 on channel 40 On the SWR meter. That said I was in a parking lot when I conducted this test, and realistically, I should’ve been in an open field with nothing around me, including buildings, trees, powerlines, etc., this is probably why the reading on channel 40 was a lot higher in the red., So it’s safe to presume This antenna may or may not have been pre-tuned already at the factory, I don’t know, either way I would suggest anyone who buys this antenna, to put it on the SWR metre first before putting it into use just to be sure, that said, I gave this antenna a five star

I have a very powerful cb and with my 6ft magnet wip I kept receiving unwanted contacts, plus it was always getting hit by branches, so with this short antenna I install it on the front of my hood and it never gets caught in branches and it gives me just the right amount of reception power needed when trailing with friends.
