This necklace set is such a good deal! Inexpensive and really beautiful...what more could you want for $5? As statement necklaces go, this is a bit on the small size, and its very delicate and lightweight. As large as the earring are, even they don't weigh much! The metal is gold-tone, finished to approximate the color of 18K. The red is a bright, vibrant ruby red, and the stones make the metal look even more luxurious. It fits me like an 16" necklace, way too short for me. But it has a lobster claw clasp so it will be easy to add an extender chain. There are several sections, all hinged to be very flexible on your neck and collarbone. The reds sparkle and dance, reflecting that light to your face and eyes. The stones are beautifully faceted, and the red and gold together are just opulent! And in case a stone falls out, they include a tiny tube of superglue so you can fix it right away. This is a smaller bib necklace than what's being shown right now, but it is still a big necklace. For some it may be too big. But I think it would be a nice and inexpensive way to try the trend if you haven't already. Even very petite women can wear this because it's got such a delicate appearance. It would be an ideal high school graduation gift, or a necklace to wear to prom. Bridesmaids, mother of the bride or groom, date night, work, special occasions, or with jeans and a boyfriend shirt...you name it! It would work in many settings. If you have lots of women and girls on your gift list, lay in a supply of these! Babysitters, teachers, cleaning lady, hair dresser, secretary...it will be a wonderful gift for the women who make your life easier. This is a fun choice, and once you get it you'll find it goes with so many of your clothes. Red is a primary color, so red works with every color out there, pretty much. I love red and pink, red and yellow, the classic red and black, red and green at Christmas, red with purple or blue, etc. The only downside to this is that it takes a while to get it. It was still ahead of schedule, but it was about 3½ weeks before I recieved it. So order well in advance if you want it for a certain date.

Perfect for my Belly Dancing outfit. Yes, it is very ornate but pretty. It is more suitable for costume or you could wear the set with a black plain dress and you would shine from far away. It is good value for the money. It does look cheap, but again, for belly dancing is perfect! It even comes with a tube of glue in case some rhinestones fell off. It was shipped directly from China and I received it 3 weeks.

This wasn't red, but dark orange and I have nothing to wear it with. It is pretty, but kind of cheap looking. My husband wanted me to order it and now I have to figure out what it will go with. If you want a necklace that is dark reddish orange, then you will like it.
