I can't get the magnets to come apart! What do I do?

Pull a little harder, the two barrels should split but if it were too easy it might come apart, they are secure. You could also try bending the barrels in the center where the split is.

Are these Nickel free?

I don’t know because I threw them in the garbage. They are a waste of money.
