Excellent cinnamon flavor - actually tastes like cinnamon (versus he numerous Ceylon cinnamon "supplements," which essentially taste like sweetened water, with no flavor or smell). Ceylon cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) also contains much less coumarin than Casia cinnamon (Cinnamomum cassia), so is safer for those with a compromised liver or those taking statin drugs. With either variety, a little goes a long way so moderation is the key.
