These tips are super sturdy and can withstand repeated use after being sterilized and flame sterilized. These are a must have for transferring liquid culture. The regular syringe needles bend easily after being flame sterilized and get clogged when trying to extract liquid culture.

He bought these extra for the industrial syringes I purchased for oil transfer. They work great.

These, needles are great. I use them for oiling, sewing machines. If they're too long, you can just cut it where you want.And then clean the end up on a grinding wheel or file and then use it.

These work great for applying solvents in small areas. I use MEK for styrene model building and this helps get into those tight places where you need more glue than a paintbrush can hold. You can also trim these down if they're too long. Pro Tip: use a cutoff tool (Dremel) to trim them. Don't use wire cutters... ask me how I know this.

General scientific equipment is always hard to write reviews for. The only thing I didn’t like was the packaging. They are in a disposable plastic bag in a cardboard box. That’s not very sturdy. When you buy five or 10 they’re usually in a glass test tube which is easier to just pour alcohol in to clean these on the other hand, don’t have that option. That’s my only negative.

I ordered this for my mycology hobby so I can draw liquid culture. This arrived on time and as described. At 14 gauge its perfect for drawing my liquid culture with ease. I'm pleased with it and recommend it.

Easily sharpened to fine point with emery. Great for mycology if you don't mind the additional time.
