We do have a mattress topper but I specifically bought these for their deep pockets. I will say in full transparency my husband isn’t the smallest guy on the block so I wouldn’t be surprised if it happened one time he was getting into bed (he’s a dramatic flopper lmao) but I hadn’t noticed until I was pulling them off to wash and the tear is in his corner.Despite it, I’m still happy with the look and feel, and for the price I don’t feel like I can complain too much about the quality.These came so fast and I was really impressed with the feel and texture especially for the price. I’m trying to redo our bedroom on a budget and trying to keep my expectations at bay when shopping at this price point, but so far I’ve been pleasantly surprised with these!They feel good out of the package, no weird smell, and maintained their softness out of the first wash cycle.
