I love these gels and use them all the time. Great for marathon/half marathon runners, nice juicy flavours and a bargain compared to so many others. Only issue I have is they're not the easiest to open whilst running (I decant them into a pouch before my run so it doesn't affect my speed). Other than that they're great, you can definitely feel the carb "hit".

As a type 1 diabetic, these gels have been a lifesaver for me! They're perfect for treating hypoglycemia. The packaging is easy to open and they're easy to carry around too. The gels themselves are a nice consistency and taste nice.

Manchester marathon changed their gel sponsor from SiS to High5 - and I was gutted. I decided to train with High5 to save having to carry 8+ gels during the marathon. Very liquid compared to SiS, and it did take a while to remember this everytime I opened one on a training run! Blackcurrant is a pleasant flavour, worked well with my carb needs and didn't cause any stomach issues. Will continue to use these as they are a lot more affordable than SiS - these companies aren't stupid when it comes to sponsoring events are they!

Terrible. Been ordering these by the box for years, had a subscribe and save setup for them as they were that good, and that consistently reliable. But last couple have had the new packaging design, and it is absolutely awful. I understand the concept, reducing the bits of waste that can get dropped from the old style, and for ease of returning them for recycling, environmental box ticking, which I’m fine with - when done properly. But in doing so, they’ve made these virtually impossible to consume - especially whilst riding. Not only is the new tear top which remains attached just a plain nuisance and just gets in the way, but the thickness of the packaging material now is so thick, it’s just impossible to use. Not ordinarily one to leave a review, but this needs calling out. Bring back the old packaging! For now, the I’m back on hunt for good value box of gels, that taste good, are easy on the stomach and easy to use - real shame, High5 really had ticked all the boxes with the previous one - prime example of don’t fix what’s not broken.

Took these when I was on a biking holiday with all my E biker friends,I was the only one on an analogue bike so I needed every help possible.Lots of guys I know say these upset there stomach but only thing I found was they gave me terrible wind,which when riding with ten other male friends is more fun than telling a joke 🤣.I did take one every hour so maybe that's why I got wind.Going away in another 3 weeks with the same guys so I'll definitely be buying another box soon wind or no wind👍
