I bought this for a costume party to dress as a Biblical character, thinking I could use it afterward for a beach cover up. I really like the cut! It doesn't look like a sack on a plus size girl, but gives you some curves. It's very comfortable, I ordered one size larger than the size chart suggested due to a big bust, and it fits nicely. If I had a more average sized chest I'd say the size chart is spot on. I was a little worried about washing it since it came pretty wrinkled and I hate ironing, but I put it through a delicate cycle and hung it to dry and it came out very well! The wrinkles are gone now. And it has POCKETS! :) I really love this dress, and I think it'll be great to wear this summer. It is a little gauzy and see through (just a little), so I'd wear a slip or something underneath.

I absolutely LOVE this dress! I wanted an oversized comfy dress that would be cool for summer and this thing delivered! I expected a baggy fit but I would say even as an oversized garment it is bigger than expected. I normally wear a 1x in US sizes and so I ordered an XXL for this dress and I probably could’ve just done an XL and still have gotten a very loose fit. But overall I like it and it’s very comfy. I’m 5’8” and it hits me just at my ankle.One con tho is that the back of the dress had a few snags and there were threads sticking out. It didn’t bother me enough to want to return it but it did come damaged. I will be ordering this in every color. Would be great even in winter to layer over it.

I had wanted this dress and though I found it listed with many vendors online, I was stymied by seeing a lot of poor reviews of both the product and the vendor experience. I took a chance ordering this, and I was pleasantly surprised. This item is a good quality and actually arrived much sooner than expected. The sizing is pretty accurate for western measurements, even a bit generous. I am somewhat tall and quite curvy (5"8" and I normally wear a 16W). I should have ordered an XL, not a 2XL. But, many reviews of this style dress stated that the sizes ran small, so I opted for the 2XL. The length is perfect, just to the ankles and even though it is a bit big on me, it does not look terribly oversized. But it does have a very pear-shaped outline. I sew, so I may take it in a couple inches along the side seams. It is nice that the pockets are set further forward in the body along a second seam, so one does not have to move the pockets in order to take it in. The neck opening is nowhere near as generous as shown in the image -- I am small-shouldered, and even so, the actual neckline barely reaches to my collarbone. It is a bit claustrophobic, I will definitely need to alter it to a wider and lower scoop. It does fit nicely through the bust and falls in a clean line to the hips. But the bump or bubble part that looks draped in the image is actually quite pronounced and a somewhat odd shape. It isn't terrible, but it's weird. That said, it is so weird, that it's almost good? The fabric is very different from what I expected from the photos, where it appears to be a light-weight summer fabric, sort of floaty and with a lot of drape. What I received is actually made with a substantial cotton/linen of good quality, somewhat heavy weight, with a dense weave and a subtle sheen. Almost like a Gabardine. Yet, even with the weighty fabric, the garment doesn't "flow" - though it's not unflattering, it is sort of chaste and nun-like (I bought it in Black). So yeah - not sexy. Wouldn't think this is ideal fabric for hot weather; seems it would be too heavy for beach or resort wear, unless on a cool breezy day, or at night. The thickness of the fabric is likely the reason why that lower part is so pronounced and sticks out. Hoping the threads will loosen a bit with wear; definitely going to be cautious when washing so it doesn't shrink and the weave doesn't get tighter (cold water, line dry). For the price, this is a good quality dress and was worth the gamble. Just keep in mind the differences between the depiction and my description. I may even order another, but in the smaller XL size and different color - though I suppose in White might also look a bit nun-like, too. Maybe Blue?

I'm fairly fit, 5'8" and 145 lbs, and was looking for just a comfy, wear around the house dress for the warmer months. This was not a good choice. I got a medium and it was incredibly large. I could have fit in it twice.The color (purple) was beautiful and the fabric and construction were fine, but the issue here is that this was the most bizarrely patterned dress I've ever seen. It had additional panels sewn under the arms going down to the hips so that extra bulk was present and made the dress have a puckered effect over the hip area. It didn't make it flow, but made it have 'points'. It was already very roomy in the hip area so adding bulk there was not needed. You can see this in the photos, but they are posed so that it is minimized. In person, it's odd and unflattering.Also, I'm not one to want to iron and this is a very wrinkle prone choice.This was definitely one to be returned.

I am very happy with this dress. It fits exactly as expected. It is not terribly flattering, but it is comfortable and cool. I live in Massachsetts, but recently went to New Mexico and Mexico. I had purchased 2 dresses of different colors, and they got me through the heat, and I was cool and comfortable and felt I looked nice too. I am really enjoying the dresses this summer. As it gets cooler in the fall, I thing I will wear them with leggings underneath, because they are so comfortable. I recommend this dress. I love that it has pockets. That's a great attribute. Sometimes I don't always want to take my entire handbag with me when I go out, so the pockets are great!

I bought two of these and waited to review until after I received both to compare. Dress #1; solid dark green is nice, although it was crammed into a smallish plastic bag that made we wonder if I received someone else’s return. I like the look and way it fit although it was MUCH shorter than photos. (I’m 5’6 so figured it would hit my ankles. This made me think perhaps whoever had it before washed and dried; consequently being much shorter than advertised. I decided to keep and wear leggings anyway because I really liked the weight of the fabric and quality of construction. Dress #2 is a good 4-5 inches longer and the fabric is very thin; about 1/2 the weight of the green dress. I like the length of the colorful one and will keep it for lounging around the house, but not in public. Due to how thin the fabric is, it doesn’t drape as well.
