Bought these for our pool filtration system for ease of maintenance. They have proven to fit well and are good quality, durable and leak free. Good product

As pool tech, I’ve used multiple units over several years Some observations . . . 1) threads on adapter into pump are clean , sturdy and precise. 2) screws into pump with tight, complete fit. 3) the o-ring that seats against pump is what seals airtight, not the threaded portion. 4) therefore, I add generous amount of silicone lube to threads and oring. 5) one slight difficulty - the new union is hard to unscrew. Hence, I add silicone lube to the union threads also. Problem solved. 6) one caveat, installing just one union on pump can be difficult to impossible. Installing on both inlet and outlet is . . . easy. 7) I’ve had some installed for several years. No problems. Recommended

We had to replace the original fitting due to the old fitting wasn't sealing tight. These fittings were installed on pool pump which were far better than the original fittings

Seems good quality. Does not fit Superflo pump as stated as compatible in the picture description. The internal superflo threads turned out to be smaller than whisperflo.

Overall it is very good quality product. Just one recommendation to the manufacturer, add reducers to 1 1/2” to make it really universal joints.

Watertite

The silicone gasket inside is not a standard o-ring, I don not know where I would find a replacement locally if I needed one in a hurry. The inner diameter of the slip fitting is slightly smaller than your standard union from the major pool filter company, the coupling nut is not it threaded the same and not compatible with the major pool companies union's either. I am not going to use them. if non of this is important to you than I think they will be fine.
