There are two scanning modes in using the product. The first using the included InstantResult software scans to an on-screen application where you can output to a variety of formats. The other mode is that everything you scan is stored on a SD card plugged into the side of the scanner which can later be opened and processed with the included software **Q: What is country of origin of this item?** A: Not sure. We have nad difficulty with the IRIS supplier in the USA/ California. **Q: What is the max receipt length? I work with really long receipts..** A: It can do some really long ones but I don’t know that I have ever tested how long it will go. I have scanned 18 pages in a book as one long page before and it seemed to have problems if I took it to 19 pages. As long as I stayed under 18 pages it worked. **Q: Does this product do image stitching for documents larger than the scan area?** A: I did not attempt the stitching operation. The interface was too small to read.
