Lock and Love Women's Faux Leather Moto Biker Jacket Coat with Removable or Non-Removable Hood

****UPDATED 4 YEARS LATER***** I’ve worn this jacket for motorcycle rides, in rain storms, dang near everywhere. I don’t exactly beat it up but I don’t exactly baby it either. I’ve had it for 4 years and have worn it hundreds of times in hundreds of scenarios. It’s still gorgeous to wear, and I still get the “I know I look cute in this” confidence boost whenever I wear it. Every stitch is still in place, the color has never faded from any part of it (and I once left it in the trunk area my hatchback for like 2 months where Sunlight could have hit it, who knows. I thought I had lost it, lol!). It is still one of my favorite jackets to wear, period, and has completely held up beyond most of what’s hanging in my closet. Just go ahead and buy it already. I promise you, it’s more than worth every penny. ****END OF UPDATE. Also, no one ever paid me for this review or the update. I don’t even remember if that was a thing yet back when I bought this. It really is just a good jacket at a good price that has served me well for literal years now**** This sat on my wish list for a long time while I read reviews, unsure whether or not this would fit or even look like the picture. I finally took the plunge, and OMG. This jacket is buttery soft, has the perfect weight where it's warm enough for chilly walks to my car but not too hot, and looks exactly like the pictures!! The stitching looks just fine, there was no smell that I ever noticed, and it fit beautifully straight out of the package. I want to wear this jacket every single day forever. Also, I'm 5'8", and am slim but have long arms. The Medium size was perfect for me. The arms were even long enough, and the jacket is form fitting and very flattering without being too tight.

I'm so happy with this jacket. I had originally gotten it in a medium--I'm 5'1" and petite, but rather busty. The medium was nicely fitted in the waist, but was a bit tight in the chest and shoulders when it was zipped up. I returned that and reordered in a large (returning was simple and quick too, so that's a plus!). The large is a much better fit, especially for when I start wearing bulkier sweaters underneath. I do wish it was just a tad longer--it hits me just above the widest part of my hips. I would say it runs fairly true to size, so long as you like slim-fit jackets. If you like it a little loose, get a size up. I like how it tapers at the waist a bit, making it super flattering rather than boxy, even in a slightly baggier size. This is a jacket that, the second you put it on, you know you look and feel cool. I'm super surprised with how warm this jacket is too--it's way heavier than it looks, and though the zip-in hoodie part is only a few inches wide, it's thicker than I expected and warm. The faux leather is butter soft, it could easily be mistaken for real leather. It did have a small amount of plastic-y smell when it came out of the box, but a warm damp cloth run over it took care of it. The zippers on the pockets are a little stiff, but at least I know that nothing will fall out. The chest zipper pockets are just for show--no actual pocket there, but the normal pockets are a good size, where I could stuff both my keys and phone in one without visible bulkiness. All in all, I am absolutely in love with this jacket.

The jacket is nice, looks nice on. I typically wear a medium/large (depending on how much denial the brand is in on making their sizes realistic) but this jacket seems to run quite small. I like a nice fit without the bunching that happens when it’s too snug. This one is a little snug around the upper arms and waist compared to other jackets I wear that are similar to this one. I even upped the size based on other reviews from my go-to large to a mind blowing XXL which will literally be the largest sized anything I’ve ever bought for myself. The material seems nice and I really like the zipped in hoodie for removal for washing. My biggest gripe is how it was shipped. While I’m all for foregoing the excessive packaging when possible, shipping a leather-like item with no exterior packaging is a gamble I wouldn’t take. I was lucky enough not to receive a scuffed or damaged jacket, but it definitely needs to be shipped inside a bubble envelope at the very least.

I bought this in black 5 or 6 years ago, and I've worn it out since. I found the same jacket again and got the coffee color this time. Absolutely love this jacket and get compliments on it all the time! The coffee color is beautiful, dark but not quite as stark for us pale girls. Doesn't wash me out like black tends to. One thing I'll say is that for a coat it runs a bit small. When it's cool out, I am wearing sweaters and other bulkier layers and need room for that so I sized up. Fits perfectly, snug but not too tight.

First issue I had immediately because it was shipped directly in the clear thin garment bag and there was multiple rips and scuffs, so my delivered item also had damages. Zero privacy and protection. Second issue I take is that this is not at all the quality you'd expect for the price. The zippers are horrible, as many other reviews state. The sizing is off an incredible amount. I normally wear a large for fitted looks, id buy XL for some room. I am a 32G so I normally do size up for chest room. I thought am XL would work, but after reading the reviews I opted for XXL. The XXL size fits exactly like a large would. Thankfully it is pretty much how I wanted it to fit so I guess that was worth it? But, it arrived with damages, and was shipped inappropriately imo which caused that. And then left out on my porch where anyone could see exactly what I ordered (including thieves) and in the weather with large holes in the thin packaging. All around the entire experience was something I expect from a $15 item. The one thing I would give credit for is that it at least does seem like it will be warm for what I needed it for. But for the price I paid that's literally the least it could do. This isn't worth the price.

Looks as pictured. Love the color. Comfortable and the quality seems pretty good. The sleeves are long on me but i tend to have that issue when petite sizing isn't an option. Might order another in a different color!
