Smooth, nutty, and still really good.

I've tried quite a few brands of tahini, and this is the BEST, followed by Trader Joe's, which is cheaper, but Trader Joe's is so often back ordered. It's very thick, so you know you're getting a LOT of sesame seeds in every jar. Therefore, it costs a little more, but it's worth it. Most brands are runny. The texture is smooth, and the oil rises to the top, if you want to pour off any to use for frying. It actually goes further than most tahinis because it's so thick that you don't use as much at once. It's always very fresh tasting. In fact, I'd buy more jars at once, but the company has a 5 jar limit per order. Excellent quality!

Artisana's Raw Tahini is a mainstay in raw nut and seed butters. At less than $8 per jar, this product is a bargain! The quality is fine, the value is incredible! Artisana's is my go to raw Tahini for whenever I need to restock my pantry!

I use this in my salad dressing everyday. When the local organic food store ran out, I bought one on Amazon. That was a mistake. The oil was 100% separated from the solids. It was about 1/3 pure oil and 2/3 solids. The solids were so dry it was nearly impossible to get the oil to mix back in. It is clear that it was being stored in less than ideal conditions. I usually avoid buying food products from big retailers online, because I suspected that they would not be properly stored or handled. This purchased confirmed my suspicions. I wont make this mistake again.

I have bought the pack of two 14 ounce jars of Artisana raw tahini from Amazon a few times now. It has always been so fresh that it hadn't even started separating yet. I would like to support a local store that carries it, but when I looked at the ones on their shelf, there was a lot of oil sitting on top and I knew it would be hard and difficult to mix. Artisana is always creamy and soft and I’ve never needed to mix it. I received my last order a couple of days ago with an expiration date of December 2021.

Just opened my first jar and all I can is WOW. Creamy and delicious, not bitter or grainy. I drained off about 75% of the oil on top when I opened the large then stirred well for several minutes until creamy.
