At the recommendation of my vet, I use this (Fish Oil) on my older dogs food to help strengthen his nails. They seemed to be getting stronger and I've only been using it for 2 months now. I was worried that he wouldn't eat his food, but he has no problems with the taste at all. I do have to say, if you squirt it on your dogs food, close the spout. When I didn't, I came back to a counter that had a light oil layer on it, and it smelled like this oil. So somehow, it continued to come out and drain down to the counter while not in use.

It works really well

I am excited about this product. Our vet recommended fish oil and probiotics for our gorgeous rescue because of her dry skin, a common Pity problem apparently. But I have a sensitive nose and didn’t believe I could handle the fishy odor of dog food and three dogs with fish breath. Five stars because there is zero odor with this product. Yay!! Zero fishy breath. Also, all three dogs are handling it just fine…no getting sick. If anything, they are even happier and more playful.

My dog out of nowhere started getting dry, flaky skin, regardless of what type of shampoo I would use on ham so I started to incorporate fish oil in his dog food, and this fish oil has not disappointed. Ever since I started using it, my dog’s drive flaky skin is completely gone.

UPDATE: I subscribed to this product for years, but the last few shipments came with NO pump like before. At first I assumed it was just a packing error, but now I realize they intentionally and short-sightedly discontinued the pump bottles. I have reused an old pump for a year now and it's no longer usable due to stickiness and grime. Without a pump for easy dosing and avoiding a ridiculous mess, this great product is virtually unusable. I have cancelled my subscription and switched to Deley Naturals. I highly suggest that Pet Honesty management rethink their decision to remove pumps (presumably to save nominal costs), because it is undoubtedly losing customers and probably preventing new ones. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I initially bought this oil as a heart support supplement for my Cavalier recently diagnosed with MVD. I can confirm it has no strong fishy odor (there is a very subtle fish smell, but it’s not bad at all). It’s super easy to swirl in with his food, and the pump is super convenient for fast application and dosing. The unexpected benefit of this product is it seems to have fixed my dogs’s chronic GI issues. I’ve tried every probiotic and digestive supplement on the market, as well as pumpkin purée, and nothing ever helped firm up his poops. They were chronically soft. After starting on this omegas oil, his poops are 80% better. I can only attribute that improvement to this product. And my dog not only still eats his food, he seems to like it even more with the moisture and flavor that this oil adds to it. I’m thrilled with it!

THIS is a daily use for our puppy and he has not had any negative reactions to it.

This product helped my shih Tzus with their dry skin conditions. I add the recommended amount to their meal everyday now. My vet said it is safe to give them the oil daily as long as it is given as per the directions once daily.

Add to dog’s food. He doesn’t seem to mind the taste or smell. It has a variety of small fish which makes it a good product.

Really helped my 9 year old Chewy. He's not as stiff or cranky. It didn't cause any tummy troubles, he's doing great on it. Only complaint is the bottle gets a bit messy but that is minor.

I've placed a few orders for this product and I've always been satisfied with the quality. However, they recently changed the formula, which now includes cod liver oil as a main ingredient. This was certainly not made obvious, and the extra vitamin A intake *which doesn't even appear to be disclosed in the analysis) does not align with the recommendation from our pet nutritionist, as our dog is older and has early Chronic Kidney Disease. Good thing I noticed before re-ordering...

My cats don't like it especially the smell.

The worlds stinkiest supplement.impossible to hide. Buy this to keep your Lab in another room. Horrid bad breath! Soon as I stopped using he went back to normal.
