Great cleaver for the price. I use it a lot for splice fiber cable & to install modems in houses.

Zero stars if possible. Stay away from this brand/product. Nothing but issues. Won't cut straight. Screw in the center doesn't tighten where the fiber lays. I've tried TWO of these cleavers hoping maybe the first was defective. But nope! The second one came defective too. Same issue as the first. So I wasted time and money, twice!

This is third one. And parts keep falling off that are too small to find. Price is good but never reach the max number of cuts due to the mentioned above issue.

I had to order this cleaver, got it last week because I misplaced mine in the field. I've been getting tired of using scissors to create fiber ends. As soon as I put this product to use, I've been able to make the perfect tip with crystal clear dBm. It's very satisfying to use, much bigger and heavier than I thought it would be which I love. Definitely does not feel like a $20 cleaver. Will be shopping with you guys

I splice fiber for a living and this cleaver performed above my expectation. Mind you that i also use the Inno V7 cleaver, which was $500+ dollars when i got it, and this one performed just as good. Since i got it I've must have cleaved around 450 fibers and the performance is around 440 perfect cleave. I also want to add that i do this at pole locations, meaning outside in damped weather at times (Alabama). All in all i would purchase this item again without hesitation. **Also want to give appreciation to the Amazon rep who supported me to receive this item, because it wasn't shipped according to the invoice. She got another unit sent out to me ASAP. Thank you for doing it right. Good job Amazon!

Very bad. Can't cut fibre, balde is not sharp enough, and angle is bad had to readjust after to make any progress. You have to hold lid open and then hold fibre with hand while pushing cutter 10x times to make some kind of cut.

I’m not doing massive amounts of splices a day as an FTTP Installer, but this cleaver gives me clean cuts and no issues splicing. I bought this as the one given to me through work was giving me nothing but headache, more chance of getting a decent cut by whacking the fibre with a cucumber. I’m probably around 50 splices in and it’s still functioning nicely. I do wonder from the other negative reviews, do people realise they have to rotate blade when it gets blunt?? For me, this should last ages in the way it has been performing.
