I am a museum docent and have a Victorian costume. I needed a sash around the waist, and a different one I bought was too narrow. This is nice and wide, but it can be folded if you want it narrower, and it's very long, so you can wrap it around double or tie a nice big bow with trailing ends. Very nice.

Incredible quality which was unexpected. Very well made. The color & pattern are beautiful and the sash has a backing. I'm a bit fluffy so I was concerned whether is was going to be long enough. No worries, this sash is very long.

I got the orange and green. The orange is a bit darker than it is in the reference photos, but other than that I'm pretty happy with both colors, material and the length of them.

This was the perfect sash for a pirate costume. It is extremely long which is good for tying around the waist with a long tail. The color is black with a shiny red brocaded Paisley pattern that shines in the sun. The item does snag unfortunately with loose threads showing after a day of wear at a faire, and I doubt it will last in long term use. The reverse is a shiny and smooth satin material that lacks grip. A very tight knot is needed to secure it, especially around a narrow waist.

Perfect size for what I needed. I needed a very long wide sash for a Santa outfit and this is perfect.

The material's thin, which was a plus for a Mid-July Renaissance Faire. However, the """raw hem""" on the sash meant it became a big wad of tangled thread after 1 trip in the washing machine, on a delicate cycle. I haven't used it since, and the sash is will never look the same. The material's too thin to hold a stitch. Though you get what you pay for- I got it for $15 and I shouldn't be too surprised. On the positive: the color is accurate, and it looked great on my costume. But if you intend to use this more than once? Find something different.

Very nice. Works great as a cumberbund for really big guys. Is slick so I would recommend using safety pins to secure it. But it looks really nice and high quality.
