Better than Frida Mom in my opinion. If you like icy cold, this is for you. My body runs hot, so this ice pad is perfect for my hoo-ha. If it’s too cold for you, try adding a thin pad inbetween for less contact to the skin.

I recently gave birth to a premature baby who had a NICU stay. It was a forceps delivery and I had second degree tearing. I also had some complications with healing and so had extended pain, which was really difficult in the NICU as I couldn’t be in bed to heal and had to sit in very uncomfortable chairs for my situation. Spending most of my time in the NICU, I wasn’t at home so I didn’t have the option of homemade padsickles. Instant ice pads helped me survive this and tolerate it so I could be with my baby. Initially I was buying the Frida Mom instant ice pads, which are great, but more expensive than these. Since I was absolutely relying on instant ice pads, I was spending so much money on them. I’m so happy I found these as they’re more affordable. I also find the contents to be more liquidy as compared to the Frida Mom pads, meaning I feel like the cool gel flows as I move which I like. The Frida Mom ones are a good product, but I’ve actually come to prefer these, which is great since they are more affordable. So glad I found these.

I bought this and Frida mom for postpartum, this one is better than Frida mom(colder), but not as cold as the one I got from hospital. It would do a better job if it could be colder.

Exactly one of these pads worked for me. The rest? Didn't activate at all. My only options via Amazon were to return for a refund or replacement -- which, yeah, being postpartum and in pain with a one week old isn't exactly high on my husband's or my to-do list. Not to mention, this is a DEFECTIVE item, so why the hell am I returning it when it should be thrown out? Expensive, too -- $30 freaking dollars. Please do not buy these.

I am about two weeks post partum from a V delivery. I bought these after I ran out of the ones provided by my hospital. These are a little hard to pop/fold but once you activate them they get very cold and last a good amount of time. I would recommend and may include these for my post partum mama friends.

Absolutely saved my life postpartum! Perfect fit, not too cold that it was unbearable, soothed and also caught any fluids leaking as well. Worked as a pad and ice pack. Easy to use. Just had to work the beads to one side and squeeze. It’ll have a little pop and then shake to make cold. Loved loved loved. So much relief from the pain, and better than what the hospitals give you. I would highly recommend to just buy in bulk. Will be buying again next pregnancy.

I was surprised to find this product available. It was exactly what I needed for my surgery. I gave it 3 stars because it was difficult to squeeze to get the ice pack working and the adhesive did not stick to my underpants. It was constantly moving around or falling down my leg. If you don't plan to move and remain in bed rest it is a great product. Unfortunately, I need to get up to use restroom now and it keeps falling off.
