Game changer.
Had one 30 years ago but lost it. I removed the second alt on my Ram 2500 but had a bear of a time getting back on without this. So second time around, I remembered I had one and bought this one again. There are other things you can stick between the belt and the pulley but this just works so well. Makes the job much easier, especially when dealing with awkward Alternator that's in a hard to reach location.

Good price. Good quality. Magnet not strong enough to hold on pulley. Belt removal was very easy but reinstalling was very difficult as tool kept falling off.

Industrial forklift mechanics heads up
Bought this to use on 2.4L stretch belts on yellow forklifts (if you know you know). Had to modify my cutting off removal side of tool. WORKS GREAT NOW! Worth every penny makes installing those belts so much easier. Definitely recommend.

Worked on a 2011 Ford Fiesta SEL. 10-26-25, just now used this on my daughters Fiesta, putting on a NEW belt, even with this tool it’s still NOT easy. I had to use a long ratchet breaker bar to to turn the crank pulley. With the belt mostly on, I also had to use a smooth, long handle non-ratchet wrench to help keep the belt pryed / pushed down, while I was slowly turning the crank pulley. Lisle has a YouTube video on this tool.

may not fit past the frame all the time wish it was just install tool cut old one out or 2 seperate pieces. may want 2 i put new stretch belt on but was off by bit so first pass got it 90% on then second pass moved it 2 groves over again but damage had been done to belt still way better then old belt but the big lip on pulley cut threw the belt like butter a secont tool would have moved it over that last little bit. still when this can get by the frame if it even has to then this works easily
