A: The 4x4 has a deeper oil pan than the 2wd, you see that black extension under the filter in the pic? That’s the difference in the 4x4 kit the B-158 kit doesn’t show it in the pic. You can put a 4x4 pan on a 2wd and use this kit.

A: No screen mesh

**Q: Will this fit a 1999 Ford ranger xlt 3.0 v6 2wd?**
A: This is for 4x4 rangers not 2wd

**Q: will this fit a 07 2wd ranger?**
A: It may fit you just have to check between a 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive is a transfer case and maybe a smaller pan
