I got this to do a wall fish for a fiber optic cable inside a wall. It was my first time doing this DIY job. This tool makes it a lot easier since you can see inside the wall to look for any obstructions, plumbing lines, electrical cables, etc. to prevent creating more work or problems for yourself. Well worth the modest price. Was able to complete my job faster and more confidently using it. It is easy to use. Just turn it on and you can use it right away, and the manual explains the various functions well enough. Cable is flexible while still being pretty stiff and works great. Camera image is great is doesn't lag. I can see myself using it for all sorts of jobs in the future around the house and for car repairs.

Semi Rigid is more like really rigid. I bought to use in my drains. Anytime it hits a bend, it stops. I can't get it to pass a curve in my pipes. The camera isn't bad for the price. It's been in some water & was cleaned off. Time will tell if it will turn back on. All in all, decent device for the camera but doesn't work for my application as far as turns.

I really liked this product. It’s intuitive, easy to use, and works perfectly right out of the box. Just turn it on and it’s ready to go. It even includes a 32GB microSD card, which is a nice bonus. Transferring files to a PC works without any issues. On a larger screen, the photos may look slightly less sharp, but that’s understandable considering the very small camera size and the affordable price point. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. It’s accessible, user-friendly, and the build quality feels solid for the cost. For the price, it delivers excellent value and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Great scope! Works excellent, has a clear picture. Easy to use and excellent product support. I had a problem and it was resolved quickly by their customer service team. Highly recommended product!

Works as advertised. Used it to look into ceiling joists while running electrical wire. Bright light and clear picture. I haven’t tried the more expensive ones to see how they compare, but for $50.00 it’s well worth it.

Nice, inexpensive borescope arrived in a timely manner. At first, I tried to use it without reading the manual and could not get the side camera to work. I then read the manual and figured out how to get the side camera to work. I took still pictures and a video of the engagement of the starter on the ring gear on a Massey Ferguson 265 diesel tractor. It showed me that I needed spacers to get the correct engagement for the starters that I had purchased that claimed they fit the tractor. Not sure where the starter that was in the tractor came from as it did not require a spacer. Apparently, the original starter did require one. I would have damaged the starter had I tried to use it without the spacer. However, it is not easy to position and hold the camera still while taking videos. An extra set of hands would help. The diameter of the borescope allows it to fit into holes as small as a standard spark plug. There is a short rigid section at the tip of the borescope that limits its flexibility. They make a smaller diameter borescope that is more flexible, but it lacks a side camera-which created the short rigid section in the borescope that I bought. The scope is fairly long so it can be used in a variety of chores.

From the perspective of quality of the camera and screen this is pretty decent product (though the cable is a little unwieldly to handle). At issue is the product description indicated the camera can rotate. Likely a translation issue? There is a second camera on the probe BUT it's in a fixed position. So if you're trying to view something in say a wall or a duct and the side camera is in the wrong direction. Unless you rotate the entire head and came of the unit you cannot get a full view. Had this been clear I would not even have bought it. It's otherwise a nice product but not much use for what I purchased it to do. So item is being returned. If this does not matter to your needs it could be an excellent product

Awesome camera. I use it for pest control inspections. Its perfect for this application and super clear image and captured files are best kind.

Overall worked really well. The side camera is quite handy and I’m glad I purchased it. It’s only used on the odd occasion. A few issues. - if you don’t have the screen on the right angle it’s difficult to see the screen. It’s not like your phone screen for example where you can place is anywhere and still see the screen fine. - The cable is permanently fixed into the screen, it makes it awkward for storing etc. a little thing but would go a long way. - The buttons are not intuitive, it’s tricky to know how to move from one camera to another. Overall worked for what I needed and I think good value for money. You’ll praise yourself when you need it and it’s sat in the workbench.

This is a superb piece of kit to have in your workshop to view those places you cannot get to. I tried this out to have a look at the state of my gutters and it worked very well. I stuck the tubing to a long stick with masking tape and held it out of windows. I was able to see what was in the gutters easily and the battery lasted well. The focus is brilliant as not only can you see close items but also those quite a way distant. I assumed it would only focus at a short distance but was surprised. I used this today to have a look inside a very small area of ceiling that needed re-plastering as the plaster had cracked while working on an inspection panel just below. After removing the cracked pieces of ceiling I was able to look inside the ceiling to see how best to repair it and it was great to be able to see everything so clearly. I have only used the basic function so far as that has shown all I needed but I know it has other functions which I may get around to using. It is great that it comes with a 32 Gb Micro SD card to record video and pictures. You need to have a USB charging plug to charge it. They are cheap to buy if you have not got one to use. The product is easy to use and the cable length is adequate for most jobs. It can connect to your computer to view the videos and photos or you can remove the Micro SD card. I ordered a small cloth bag to keep the product in and it fitted in there well, with a zipped pocket to store the charging lead, instructions etc. This is one of the best products I have ever purchased - very usable and solves DIY problems by being able to see things you could not previously view.
