Great solar panel. Useful.
We use this solar panel to charge a battery. The battery Powers a pump for my wife water barrels. Works great. It's in the middle of winter right now here in New England. And it's out there collecting sun and charging the battery. No complaints. I've had it for about 6 or 7 months

I like it
I bought this solar charger to charge my trolling battery on my boat while I'm moored at the dock. I get all the afternoon sun where my boat is docked and this charger keeps my battery charged up and ready for when I want to go fishing again.

Works great.
We have a little boat and use a battery for the electric motor. My husband in the past would have to carry the battery up for recharging. With e Solar Panel we now charge the battery in the boat. Works great.

Works exactly as expected
After reviewing several panels and determining that I needed one with the capability of being weather resistant, I decided to purchase the 20W SOLPERK Solar Panel Kit 20W 12V, Solar Battery Trickle Charger Maintainer. Initially, I read various concerns about overcharging the battery were stated on other SOLPERK reviews, as well as some hardware issues, but as this one had no reviews at the time, I thought I would take the chance to use this panel to charge a 12V battery that I use to provide light to my stand-alone shed. Installation was straightforward and aside from finding a way to thread the wire from the roof of my shed to the battery, there is nothing complicated about the installation. (I did create a bracket to prevent damaging the roof, and would recommend that approach to prevent inducing leaks on a shingled roof.) After set-up, I didn't see a green light (indicating complete charge) on the battery indicator, but since I hadn't charged the battery in a while, I thought I would give it time. I did monitor the output of the solar cell (roughly 14V depending on sun exposure) and noted that with no load, my battery was just about 12 volts. After a day, the voltage on the battery popped up to about 12.4V, but I still had a red light on the battery charge indicator. By day 3, the battery light was green and the battery was at full capacity. Testing a week later, I drained the battery a bit by leaving some lights on for about 1 hr (12 V LEDS). The battery charge light was red for a period of time and then went green again. The battery had maintained full charge. At this point, I've had the panel connected to the battery for about 2 weeks and all seems well. Should I see the battery overcharge or diminish in capacity, I will update my review, but until that time comes, everything seems to be working well.

Works like it should
I put it on my hunting stand, hooked up to a lawnmower battery, i have an inverter for a cell phone booster, works great, use 12v water pot, crock pot or a heated lunch box, have 12v lights hooked up but dont use everything at once, not enough power for inverter, may need bigger battery... keeps battery charged thou

Poorly designed mounting brackets
Plan on $100.00 in additional hardware and flat stock to strengthen up the mounting brackets because they are .062 thick and won’t hold the wind velocity

I must say that this solar charger is exceptional. I’ve used it seasonally for the past few years. It charges my heavy duty deep cell marine battery weekly without issue. The battery is usually at 25% by end of the weekend as I use it for my trolling motor. I hook it up on Sunday and by the time I return on Thursday it’s fully charged.

I had ordered a different brand from a different supplier where the controller didn't work. So I odered this one. I could tell immediatley it was better quality in not only the solar panel, but the controller was metal instead of plastic, and has an extra connection for a light. Although I found out of 2 I ordered, the solar panel LED indicator light doesn't seem to work. However it does chaarge, and operate correctly otherwise.
