A great solution at a great price
I purchased this primarily for listening to white noise while asleep, and for that purpose this is a great little product. I've used it about a week. Here are the things I like about it: * comfortable band, not too tight, doesn't make me feel hot. * fits well underneath CPAP mask * the cord looks more robust than typical cheap headphone wires * the location of the speakers is adjustable within the band * if I slide the band down over my eyes, it does double-duty as a sleep mask. It doesn't block all light, but it blocks enough that it helps me stay asleep. I was hoping it would let me sleep on my side comfortably, and with a little adjustment it does. You need to position the speaker so it's not pressing directly on your ear, but perhaps just a bit forward. Part of this is having a good pillow, by the way. A funny thing I noticed is that if I want the band to go over my forehead instead of over my eyes, it tends to slip down anyway. It might be my blockhead, or maybe I can turn it around and mess with it some more. But I usually wear it over my eyes anyway so I haven't bothered. Regarding the sound quality, this isn't an audiophile's high fidelity headset. But it's not meant to be either. For listening to music/speech/white noise while snoozing or falling asleep the sound quality meets my expectations. I usually use it for white noise but sometimes for music. The description says it can be used for air travel, and I think it would be good for that except that the speakers probably aren't quite loud enough. Airplanes tends to be noisy and the band doesn't do much to squelch external noise. I haven't tried it on an airplane though since I have noise-cancelling headphones for that already. I'm giving it 5 stars because it does exactly what I need it to do, and its cheap! I think i'll pick up a spare just in case.

a great buy for the money!
I really like this. the sound is good, the head band is a bit large and there is no way to adjust it. Otherwise, its comfortable to use when in bed or out walking and listening to podcasts!

My Go-To Headphones for Sleeping
I need water sounds to sleep and my spouse snores so these are the best solution to both issues that I have found. The sound quality is great for my needs (don’t need extra bass or anything fancy). The foam cushions do not bother my ears much / cause soreness (not nearly as much as ear buds do), though there was a bit of an adjustment period right at first. The foam speakers are also easy to adjust in the sleeve and easy to remove in order to wash the sleeve when needed. The sleeve /cover/band fits comfortably around my head and I like how these double as an eye mask to block out unwanted light too. I was a little concerned about buying the wired model, but even though I toss and turn at night, the wire has never been a problem in terms of sleeping/ choking hazard. The wires do become twisted and eventually fray (I think my first pair frayed after about 9 months, so I replaced them) but at the very reasonable price point for which these are offered, I don’t mind replacing the wired apparatus as needed. I actually prefer the wired ones to the wireless models as the battery packs on the wireless models sometimes dig into my forehead, which is uncomfortable. Pros: easy to adjust, easy to wash cover/sleeve, good sound quality, low cost, comfortable, double as an eye mask. Cons: wires eventually twist and fray The bottom line: I use these every night and they help me achieve optimal sleep. Highly recommended.

Good enough
These work for my purpose, and they're cheap. I use these to listen to things to help me fall asleep (ASMR, ambient noises, human quaalude Bob Ross). Things you should know to help you decide: 1) They're not real loud. This works for me, since I'm trying to sleep. Otherwise, it would be a problem. 2) The "phone" part of the headphone is in a stiched pocket, which makes them adjustable to where your ears are, but also means they can "float away" on you by shifting in the pocket. This does not help with the aforementioned quietness, as you will find occasionally that you can barely hear it anymore because it shifted away from your ear. 3) The "one size fits all" nature of the headband can make it difficult to use. I have a big head. I mean, I'm not Frankenstein's monster, but I wear a big hat, you know? Basically, the only way to keep the phones comfortably over my ears is to wear the headband as a sleep mask. If I lift the band above my eyes, the phones won't sit over my ears, so no sound. 4) This may be common to all headband type headphones, but, despite having a big head (resulting in the headband probably being tighter on me than most), it still feels a little loose. I mean, it's not super loose, but loose enough to want to spin round my head when I'm laying down. Again, causing volume/ear alignment issues. I can't say that issue is specific to this product. I don't know that I'd want it too much tighter. I don't want to wake up with a headache. Some of this stuff, I think you just have to deal with. Whatever their shortcomings, these are way more comfortable than trying to wear any other type of headphones while sleeping. And these work well enough that I don't feel bad having spent a measly $20 on them (I've spent that much or more on things I regret far greater).

I am thinking of buying ten more of these suckers!!!! Love them!!!
I have to copy almost everything another reviewer posted because I have had the same excellent experience. I have not been sleeping well due to my husband's increased snoring since his allergies have been kicking in, but I can't wear earbuds while sleeping because they hurt my ears. This was the perfect solution and since it's wireless I just bluetooth it to my phone and choose a youtube sleep music video. Fifteen minutes later, I am out cold!! I wish the battery lasted a little longer and the hole in the fleece part was a little larger to plug it in to charge, but everything else is wonderful. "I ordered these CozyPhones Sleep Headphone Contour design a few weeks ago as I was frustrated trying to find headphones that wouldn't hurt my ears at night and leave me with an earache in the morning as I sleep with NASA Biurnal Music. My worries that they would be hot were unfounded as even though they are fleece, they are not hot. I have long hair and the CozyPhones Sleep Headphones can be worn over or under my hair and still stay on through the night. My second worry from was from reading a review that they wouldn't stay on as I toss and turn quite a bit. I received the Adult Large and was concerned because they were not a snug fit. Not so, they do stay on and I think a snug fit would give the wearer a headache by morning. They are comfortable and even more so compared to having earbuds jamming into the ear while lying on them. The earpiece is a flat somewhat soft disc that can be carefully positioned inside the earwrap while it's being worn. I sleep even better as I don't wake up from my ear hurting like they did with the earbuds."

Perfect!
I was sleeping with headphones that were uncomfortable, than ear buds that kept falling out of my ears, and then I finally bought this and it’s perfect just perfect. It’s comfortable, and you just have to adjust the earphones to the length of your ears, which is very easy to do. I highly recommend them if you’re a night owl and your husband is trying to sleep.

Not a sleep mask
This is not designed to go over your eyes. Also, the images in the ad make the eyemask part look much wider/shaped correctly. It's a very odd fit. Too loose/large as a sleep mask and too tight as a sweat band. The title is also deceptive because it says that it's cooling, but it's made of a thick, wool/fleece-like material. Not returning because it was very cheap/affordable, but I'd happily exchange for a thin/cooling sleep mask that is actually made for covering the eyes. Or I'd pay extra for the real deal. Honestly, I'd fork out a pretty penny for something that actually fit correctly and was made out of better material. . The only good thing about them (and the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1) is the sound quality. Otherwise, these aren't worth the purchase (unless you have a nice sleep mask at home with the pockets, but your sound device is bad - you could stick these speakers in your superior mask, I suppose).

Better than sleeping with earbuds, but still not impressed
I’ve been using these for about 2 months now, and I definitely have mixed feelings about them. Although they’re a definite improvement over sleeping with regular earbuds in (especially as a side sleeper), they aren’t great. First, they’re huge, and the fabric gets even more stretched out easily. I tumble dry the band after washing it every time hoping that the dryer will shrink it, but it hasn’t helped. (On the flip side, if you don’t want them to shrink, that’s a point in their favor!) I wish I had bought the kids version so they might fit better. On a related note, they do not stay put. Ever. Every time I wake up, the band is halfway onto my face like some kind of halfhearted, part-time eye mask. But it can’t actually double as an eye mask because it’s the wrong shape and it won’t stay put over my eyes either. I can understand why the band would naturally shift around a lot while I’m sleeping (esp. since it’s so big), but what annoys me even more is that the actual earphone pieces also shift around inside of the band all the time. If the band itself were narrower it might prevent this, but they have tons of room to shift around in there so not only is it hard to place them in the right spot but they won’t stay in that spot long anyway. The unnecessarily wide band is also a problem for other reasons. I have never been one to “sleep hot” - I sleep under a fleece blanket year-round and usually sleep in a winter hat 3 months of the year, just to give some perspective. So it never, ever occurred to me that I might feel overheated sleeping with these on...but I’ve repeatedly woken up desperate to rip these off and cool down. I know a lot of people have said that the interior lining keeps them cooler, but that has not been my experience at all. The wide band has also been an unexpected problem for my skin. To be fair, my skin is much more sensitive than a lot of people, but I was definitely not expecting to be dealing with breakouts on my neck and forehead because of these. I wash the band often, but even keeping it really clean doesn’t help. I guess the fabric doesn’t breathe at all because it must be trapping everything against my skin everywhere that it touches me - which, again, is way more surface area than you’d expect because it’s so wide. I’m not particularly knowledgeable about sound quality or anything, but I have no complaints in that area. They sound fine to me. I mostly sleep on my side, and I’ve noticed I have to turn the volume up significantly when I roll over onto my back because there’s no way to keep the earphone part closer to my ear if it’s not being sandwiched between the pillow and my head. I also have mixed feelings about the cord. It’s long, which is great. And it’s wrapped with some kid of material, so it’s not just bare plastic, which is also great. But after less than 2 months it had already developed 2 places where the cord has “escaped” from the exterior covering, creating these small loops of plastic cord sticking out. It doesn’t seem to have impacted their sound performance, but it looks terrible and makes them get tangled up more easily. Overall, I doubt I would buy these again unless they made significant changes to them. But most of the issues I have with them are things that might not be a problem for everyone, so I can’t say that I’d never recommend them either. They’re not the right ones for me, but if you have a large head, don’t have sensitive skin, and don’t get easily overheated at night then these might be a great choice for you! :)
