Is this paper fountain pen friendly?

The paper thickness and texture is very similar to regular copy paper. It really depends on how you want to use it. Single sided, I would say yes. Double sided, no. My fine point sharpie bled through the page.

Is this paper short grain or long grain?

I'm not sure. But it is nice and thick.
