Outstanding for wound care. Helped heal a huge stage IV decubitus ulcer down to a stage 1 in six months. I attribute this gel to helping avoid skin grafts. The only downside is that it is expensive for ongoing use; however, the benefits are immense.

I purchased this in hopes that it would help heal the cuts on my hands from scratching my eczema. I put it on at night, then put a coating of Vaseline on top, then white gloves. It has made a huge difference in the speed of the cuts healing and softened the dry eczema skin. Very happy with the product

My elderly father has very thin skin and his arm was badly abraded. We had his nurse treat it and for several months there was no improvement. So we tried the Manuka Honey and within a couple of weeks it was healed. Even the nurse was amazed at how well it worked.

After looking through all the choices for honey meant for a medical purpose, this product fit the bill. My doctor recommended a different brand, but it wasn't available anywhere. Because of where it was produced and its description, I felt confident in using it. The packaging is poor because it is apparently meant for a one time use. The top twists off so that you can use just a small amount. But then the cap does not seal the tube. That was fine until I needed to travel with it. The product itself is working; it is easy to dispense a small amount; it deserves all five stars. But a twist off top that can't be resealed... really?

If I could give this review more than 5 stars I would. I recently gave birth and had to get stitches. I was miserable and couldn’t find a remedy for the pain!! I found someone comment on tik tok for this honey and felt relief after the few applications! I highly recommend this product. I am almost out of it and I just purchased another one!

Hate the packaging - non-intuitive, unreliable, and always filled with air that you have to squeeze out. They should at least have a video to show you how to break open and re-seal the tube. On the other hand, the Medi-honey seem to work much better than antibiotic ointment for a heel wound with 1 sqcm skin missing. A skin like tissue already formed on top of the wound in a week.

Well it's honey in a tube. I do not know what the "strength" of the MGO is cause it does not say anywhere. However that being said I just don't understand the problem with the sealabilty of the cap that people are expressing. My opinion is that they are just not mechanically inclined. Ya see, the cap twists off as it breaks the seal and then you reverse the cap and insert the other end in the hole and push in. That's it folks. It seals quite well. Sure. it would be nicer if it has a screw cap cause the cap now could pop open if pressure is applied to the tube but if you are careful it should be just fine.

This is not a gel. What I got was honey is a gel tube . It is sticky (obviously it is honey) You are better off just buying Mnuka honey that you can eat and use it to apply to skin.

Terrible packaging but product inside is great for burns. You need to use tape to cover it because there no lid to reapply after it’s opened.

Worked really well to help heal a wound on our kitty's leg. Manuka Honey can be messy, but the small tube and consistency of this honey makes it a lot easier to apply.
