Taydey Women's Ruched Stripe Sleeveless Knee Length Party Evening Dress

I am 5'2, 129 lbs, with wide shoulders, small breasts, bony hips and thick legs. I know, weird. Anyway, I bought this to wear to a wedding and purchased the burgundy in a size small. It fit PERFECTLY and is extremely light, stretchy and comfortable. The pictures really don't do it justice, it looks much better in person. Another woman was even wearing the same dress at the wedding! I got compliments like crazy all night long. It does have a low back so you'll need an accommodating bra for that. The hem was just below the knee on me, exactly like in the picture. I suppose you could buy a larger size that what the size chart says to purchase if you want a looser fit--the small fit how I wanted, body-contouring but not sausage-like. It does show every bump you have so if you or the underwear you'll be wearing are bumpy (and you care about that) you'll need some shapewear underneath. I really couldn't be happier and I'm going to try to figure out a way to be able to wear it to work with some shred of modesty. Only downside--the material is fragile and my just-manicured and filed nails brushed against it it did tear the tiniest bit. It's not noticeable in those couple of spots but you need to be really careful not to snag it on anything.

Meet your new favorite dress!!! I love this dress so much. It makes me feel so confident. I have a lot of dresses and this dress is just special! It's easy to wear, the perfect lenght, at a inch below the knee and I feel amazing wearing it. The subtle details are adorable and flattering. You can wear it to a wedding, to work (with or without a blazer or cardigan), a conference, a baby shower and the list goes on forever. It is a form fitting dress but flattering. I have a bit of a tummy but I am still comfortable in this. The color I got was juice red but I wouldn't consider it red at all. I would call it a rust color but I love it. For reference I am 5'9" 210lbs 36DDD 32" waist 42"hips I highly recommend this dress!

(Updated review at bottom) I wore this dress to the annual holiday cocktail party for my job. It didn’t show any bit of cleavage or thigh which was perfect! It did however show a little bit of my back and chest so it was very attractive without being skimpy. I have a tiny waist and it hugged my waist perfectly without “bagging” in the middle, although I did wear a waist belt to accessorize it. I wore this dress about 20 more times and then it started to get a little baggy so it began to fall a little on me but because it’s still in great condition my mom took it and now it’s her cute little black dress ☺️ My size: S 5’7” 125 lbs Chest 32 DD Waist 24 Hips 40 ———————————— Updated review: Because it was so perfect the fist time (two years ago,) I decided to buy this same dress and size again! Upon trying on the dress this time around I noticed that my new dress came stretched out at the neck line(tag flops out), but more so at the hem. Even after pulling the dress up, the bottom still looks stretched. Sad to take a star off for that 👎🏼 😥 It is still snug fitting though. 😐

I came across this dress looking for something else and noticed how fabulous the Reviews are. Being a grandmother I was very hesitant because eventhough I've been eating better and exercising, I'm not even close to wearing something fitted like this. I'm 5'10 180pounds 38DD, recently down to a 12-14 and thanks to other Reviews I ordered the Large. If you want this dress to just fit the body you already have, order your size. If you want it fitted and to HOLD you in, go down a size. The pics were taken as soon as I ripped opened the bag, no shapewear or shoes. Well I started taking pics ( I dont have a full length mirror) and I was like "HELLO old body," I haven't seen you for awhile, UNTIL I turned around and saw the back. Ugh! But The Dress is Awesome, The lines are Brillant and they SMOOTH out ALL THE ISSUES.. It's not see thru, I'm actually in a white bra in the photos but you really can't tell. I just need something to help in the back, padded underwear, control pantyhose or a crane might help me. I WOULD SUGGEST TO ANYONE THAT'S ON THE FENCE TO JUST ORDER THIS DRESS, you could be so surprised. It really holds you in and the ruching gives you room to play around with the length. It does WONDERS for the middle section and really helps give an hourglass figure. Another reviewer said to turn it around and wear it backwards, which I will try (can't hurt). Personally I'm going to order other colors and I can't wait to have a place to wear them (maybe a Xmas party at this rate) but I'm going to try and do 50 squats a day until then. When I first looked at the dress, my first thought was that I would return it. However, like most Amazon clothes, I tried it on. I was pleasantly surprised that it looked pretty good. The material isn't too thin and the fit was as expected. Know...here's the question: Is it worth the price...I would grudgingly say "yes"...but if it were about 20% less expensive, I would say it was a deal (not a steal - but a deal). I'd say this dress is comparable to something you would purchase at JC Penney....not high end, but a smidge better than something from Target and/or Sears. All in all - not a terrible purchase...but if the price were lowered to about $17, I would suggest "buy".

Great dress for a party! I'm 5'11.5" 160 pounds 36B bra. Normally around a size 10 (US). I ordered the medium in Burgundy, it fit GREAT, was plenty long enough that it came over my knees (easy to ruche if you want it to be shorter). The dress pulls over your head, no zippers to worry about. Fabric is stretchy. The shouders were a touch tight on me but that is totally normal for me. I had no issues with it and wore the 'sleeves' exactly as shown on the model in the photos. I wore it to my company holiday party and got a ton of compliments. It was super comfortable. It is pretty revealing as far as hiding any tummy you have. I paired it with a pair of Bali Women's Shapewear Cool Comfort Hi-Waist Thigh Slimmer, Nude, Medium which were perfect to hold my little tummy in for a smooth slim look. The fabric has those horizontal lines as shown in the photos, their raised for texture, very nice and helped hide a few of my tummy lumps. The back is lowish cut but I had no problem wearing a normal bra, the straps never showed. I wish I had photos from the party because everyone told me I looked like a knock-out in this dress. For the price you can't go wrong!

Awesome dress!! Bought it to fulfill a bridesmaid role and got so many compliments. I’m 6’, 160ish lbs, and normally wear a 38D bra. Bought a large in this and it fit really well. As a fellow bridesmaid said ‘it hugs you in all the right places’. The dress is super stretchy and comfortable. I love the funky lines or ribbons of texture on the sides that give it character. The pink color didn’t wash me out as much as I thought it would. Although given the parameters I had to fill for the bridesmaid role, I didn’t have a choice. I did notice that it had a few snags on the fabric (easily fixed) and it was a tad see through, so light colored undergarments only. But I would totally recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap dress for an event.

I had read about this dress on a buzzfeed article and was planning to go out last night (12.9) & wanted to put some effort into going out. I thought for the price (& that it was return eligible) it was worth a shot. I have to say I love this dress! It was delivered quickly & fits very well. For the first time in a long time I actually felt cute! As others have said you can wear it backwards as well - I tried both and I liked having the lower cut in the back. The dress was long - hitting below the knees - however it hugged in the right places. I am 5’8, 186lbs, and 2 months post partum and an XL worked for me. I will be ordering more in more colours!!
