Maybelline Express Brow 2-In-1 Pencil and Powder Eyebrow Makeup, Soft Brown, 1 Count

This is good for people who suck at makeup. I have shaky hands and I can't see as well as I used to and I never have been good at putting makeup on. The pencil part is tapered so that it goes on more realistically and the fluffy side has some of the pigment in it to fill in the brow to make it look more natural. My only is that the side with the puffy thing and the pigment runs out far before the stick does. The color looks very natural and I'm a dirty blonde with light colored eyebrows that are almost invisible.

I have sparse eyesbrows in general and I'm also still missing areas where I'm growing the tails back after shaving them off for years. This brow product really helps to make them look nice. The pencil end is shaped like a teardrop which helps with the placement. The other end has a powdery liquid/stamp thing shaped like a sphere that comes to a point, which helps fill in my brows quickly and it lets me be more precise than I expected. The color is a perfect match for my dark brown hair because both sides of the product lack that weird reddish hue that several other brow pencils have. Out of all the brow pencils I've used, this one by far helps me complete my eyebrows the fastest.

What I like about this product is that the blonde color is really blonde. I ordered and ordered blonde eyebrow pencils. They are too dark. They turn out brown. The color looks terrible - too dark and phony looking. This one is just right. Why cannot other companies make a REAL BLONDE eyebrow pencil? Brown is not blonde! I do not know how long this will last and I have to re-order. This seems to be a complaint of some. Will wait and see. I just used the powder. Did not need the pencil part to outline. Update: I used the powder part once and on the second use, there is no more powder! Very disappointed in this as the powder is what I liked the most. The pencil part is great but liked the powder. I cannot find a true blonde color in pencils by other makers. So, it looks like I will have to stick to this one even though the powder is gone after one use. Thus, resulting in a loss of a star.

I have one each in Blonde, Medium Brown, and Deep Brown. On one end is a tapered foam powder applicator which lays down powder in a not very thin line. The powder goes on smoothly and fills in a lot of space quickly. The other end is a pencil that is not sharpenable -- you turn the applicator to move it forward. I use the pencil after laying down the powder (which is opposite of what the instructions say), since the pencil tip is small and great for filling in lighter spots and for shaping around the edges. I find that using the pencil first takes more time. I use these not just as eyebrow pencils but also as eyeliners, both right over the top lashes and right under the lower lashes. They are the best eyeliners I've ever used, especially the powder end, which goes on super smoothly. Both the Blonde and the Deep Brown are great brown colors -- neither have that reddish cast that so many brown eyeliners have. The Medium Brown is a little reddish when I apply it to my brow, so I don't use it there. However, around my eyes the red cast of the Medium Brown is neutralized for some magical reason and it makes a good medium brown eyeliner. With both the Blonde and the Medium Brown the pencil end doesn't go on the eyelid tissue easily -- there has to be some tugging to get the color on. However, the pencil end of the Deep Brown goes on very smoothly. Again, I use the powder end of the Deep Brown first (which as an eyeshadow is not that dark), then go over the outside corners with the pencil end for more depth. I use the Deep Brown more for evening wear, and the other two colors for daytime. I'm a 67 year old woman who doesn't like to spend a lot of time doing makeup, and for a long time I looked for a good basic brown eyeliner that doesn't cost over $10 (I'm not willing to spend more). All those I tried had issues of one sort or another -- one being too much red in the color, and another being that my older skin is easily irritated, so that I'd have red itchy eyes from various products. I've had no reaction when using these eyebrow duos, so for me they are hypo-allergenic. Also, the price is so reasonable, as these pencils last a good long while. Maybelline, please don't stop making these; they are my absolute favorite makeup product ever

Loved how easy it was to apply but it certainly did not last long which was disappointing. I won’t buy it again because you cannot tell how much of the pencil is actually there. The pencil shaft may be far longer than the makeup inside.

I use the blonde shade to help fill in and define my light-colored ad thinning brows. It’s the best product I’ve found for natural looking blonde brows.

Natural color for almost black eyebrow fill. Use it over microblading to fill when it starts to fade. Easy to apply. Beautiful tone on ivory skin. Easy to remove. My GO TO!

I can't find this in stores anymore and was excited when I found it here...great product and I love the triangle liked shaped tip!
