Written by account holders wife. I have naturally wavy hair/ curly hair this helps my hair be more curly than wavy. Love that I can put it in and let it dry and work its magic. Great value for the money. Leaves your hair soft and not stiff and crunchy and it smells good too plus it doesn’t have any harsh ingredients that will damage your hair. I love this product - use it every day- couldn’t imagine not having it.

I love the Not Your Mother’s curl line. I have 3a hair and find that the combination of the cream and the gel (along with the leave in conditioner spray), gives me the best quality curls that last for days! I love the smell and how soft and bouncy it makes my curls!

I have 3 biracial kids with LONG 3a/3b/3c hair, and have only found Ms.Jessies works to hold their curls for multiple days after wash day, but they were recently sold out so we tried Not Your Mother's. I did really like these products because it was simplified into a curl cream and curl gel. Smell was sweet like pineapples, which isn't my cup of tea, but the kids enjoyed it. Day one, their curls actually looked amazing, day 2 they frizzed quickly, and by day 3 it was time for a other wash day. Definitely recommend using a leave in conditioner before the curl cream. I do rate this product better than Aunt Jackie's. I would order again if I can't find our normal products. The price is also amazing.

Excellent!! My only regret is not getting this set sooner. I have fine, thin, curly (type 2c-3a) hair which gets weighed down by products very easily. My scalp is naturally oily as well, so build up always exacerbates that. I haven't had these problems with the NYM Curl Talk Gel and Curl Cream. My hair stays voluminous and soft for up to 3 days, but I usually wash it on the 2nd. I initially bought this set just for the gel, but I've come to appreciate the curl cream as well. The scent of both products is mild, slightly sweet but not sugary. Kind of floral but definitely not overbearing. Its a soft scent. Neither product dries out my ends, particularly the gel, which is a problem I was having with another very popular brand of gel (starts with an "E".) Additionally, the gel isn't sticky or too thick so its easy to apply, and it holds my curls beautifully. It adds shine and definition without heaviness on my strands. The curls don't loosen until about the third day, and even then its easy to refresh them with a spray bottle. The curl cream has a soft hold but still defines my curls and adds shine to my hair without making it feel greasy or weighed down. The product has nice slip as well. Totally recommend.

It works! And it does NOT give your hair that weird crunchy texture that other products do and it isn't sticky. My hair is soft and bouncy! I love it! I will definitely be buying this again. Great quality, great value for the money.

I have 3A curls. I used the cream then the gel and it has given me great curls and full of body it looks amazing. Problem is my hair feels like cardboard. My hair is normally very soft. I tried cream alone and gel alone to figure out what is doing it but they both dry my hair out so bad. It’s a shame. Gotta go back to find something that works for my curls like this does but that leaves my curls soft.
